The thing to remember is OBJ is a super star. Rock star level. LeBron of the NFL. I'd argue he's the biggest star in the NFL. (Maybe some QBs are more famous, but star power is OBJ). So if he needs to miss voluntary OTAs due to outside commitments, that's fine. He has commercials to film, etc. He has earned the right to skip voluntary workouts.

The offensive line is a much bigger worry than this guy skipping.

You are familiar with superstar players right? LeBron, Steph, Kobe, Peyton Manning, etc right? Well OBJ is one of those. He stars in commercials. Little kids buy his jersey and emulate his catch all over the US. He can skip voluntary OTAs if he wants to. He has earned that.

So are you saying that the more famous you are, the more “acceptable” it is to skip OTAs? It’s weird to use fame as the benchmark here as opposed to something like veteran status.
