SC is in a rebuilding year so to say and I really do not think they should be ranked as high as they are ..... the only reason they are up that high is because of the pre-season polls, which shouldn't be taken til the 6th or 7th week of the season ..... by that time you should weed out the crap from the cream ....

I mean, the "voters" had Mississippi and California ranked in the top 10 and had them dominating the college football world and both teams got spanked. And any system where the champ is not determined on the field is not legit .........

the only way to really get the system changed is to stop attending or watching college football. if the chancellors saw the declined revenue and the sponsor did as well, guaranteed, there would be a playoff system within the next few years easily. The smaller schoolsl have a playoff system and they're student athletes; so don't tell me that shit can't work......

Double Digit wins over Penn State, Arizona, and Wisconsin, should not be overlooked by close games with Arkansas State, N. Iowa, and Michigan State. You know what the difference between the close wins Iowa has had and the USC game vs. Washington? Iowa still won.

It's must mentally healthier and easier not to piss and moan until the end of the season when somebody gets the shaft. Iowa might very well lose a game from here on out, for example. I agree the system is messed up, but most of the problems get hammered out by teams losing, because it is so damn hard to go undefeated.

As much as I want Iowa to lose to Ohio State, I want 6 undefeated teams at the end of the year. Just to kill the BCS.

Ill always root for the Buckeyes, but i just might be rooting for them to lose against Iowa. I figure if Iowa and Texas runs the table, and a 1 loss team wins the SEC, then maybe the SEC political think tank will lobby for a playoff system.

USC vs Oregon ...... big game of the week ....... Oregon should win but I wouldn't be surprised with an SC victory ..... SC vs Top 10 is always a good outcome .......

Exactly how I feel about OSU. We will have our bright spots this year, but it wasn't supposed to be a great year. If we can get 10 wins, great. Anyone thinking that we were going to go undefeated this year didn't take a hard look at what we lost.

graduation and the NFL reamed many teams, ours being two of them ....


new rankings ...... Texas jumps 'BAMA with a nice win over "I'm man, I'm 40." ..... SC dropped after that ass mugging from Oregon. Can you say 392 yards rushing ??? Iowa and Cincy holding strong and can really put a dent in this BCS crap ..... we need a bunch of undefeateds .....

OSU is getting no love from the computers (and rightfully so) but they were ranked 12th in the Coaches (ahead of USC, which makes no sense) and 13th in the Harris. I was hoping that they would land in that 12-14 range in the BCS standings. A win at Happy Valley this Saturday could do wonders for the Buckeyes' ranking.

I love this, if Iowa and OSU both win then Gameday will be here in two week I cannot wait.

I think Iowa could jump one of the SEC teams or Texas if Boise, and TCU lose. The computers love the Hawkeyes. The polls give them some more love they could be dangerous.
