No, unfortunately.

Nice.

Just curious, since I've never been to a large festival like that...How long will the lead band play? Like, if I was in town, I would want to see RHCP but don't really give a crap about any of the other bands that day. But, I wouldn't want to buy a ticket if they were only gonna play like 5 songs. I assume since they are the lead/feature and play last that they would play a good amount of songs? Perhaps a normal amount for a normal concert?

Typically festival headliners will play anywhere from an hour and a half to two hours. 2nd tier acts usually get about an hour - hour plus ten minutes. 3rd tiers and the rest usually 45 minutes or so.

Last year, Slipknot and Linkin Park, both headlining their respective days, played about two hours each. Linkin Park easily played 20 songs.

Oh damn that is awesome.

Appreciate the info.

So I drive a LOT, and get bored easy.

This means I have collected a plethora of absolute bangers.

Will post when I get home.

Anyone with spotify? One of the best product, ever.

You have my name via Facebook David...have a look.

Coming out and saying I'm putting Pinkerton on my all time favorites list.

Also awolnation would have been legendary if they came out twenty years ago. Great songwriting

Bro I just scrolled for a good 120 seconds and all I found was "a" guns n roses song
Hmm that's strange. I've got playlists of indie rock and stuff like that.

RHCP released their new single today titled "Dark Necessities. Not sure how i feel about it. Feels like a Stadium Arcadium filler instead of a lead single off a new album. Perhaps it grows on me. Still better than half the stuff out there...

Been revisiting a lot great late 80's early 90's stuff in my catalog. On rotation currently is, any and all Dinosaur Jr, Heatmiser, Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine.

My old ass Levi's and flannels never went away, bitches.

On my phone but any thoughts on that song "Wow" by Beck? I thought it was awesome.

RHCP's "The Getaway" leaked stream link is below:

Way better than the crap singles they've put out in support of it. IMO, RHCP hasn't picked appropriate singles since By The Way. Some highlights include "Sick Love" apparently co-written with Elton John himself. "The Longest Wave" feels like a By The Way / Californication hybrid...you can tell Josh Klinghoffer was holding back a bit the last album. Lots of good stuff on it...way better than Im With You, IMO.

Klinghoffer hasn't shown me anything the past two albums to suggest he is anywhere close to Frusciante, at least in terms of melodic writing and soloing but that's okay. I think his knowledge of "sound" and propensity to be experimental has opened the door for Flea. I don't love I'm With You, from the first listen Getaway is slightly better, but Flea was outstanding on both albums.
