Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If we sign Derrick Williams and Look to sign Larry Sanders. Will we need to let one of McRae or Felder go to open up another spot for our backup PG

No loss with either of them going. Likely keep Felder since they drafted him
 
I think they will look to trade McRae into cap space before the deadline ends. I think they will keep Felder. Also, I think you could get a 2nd for Felder if you wanted.

Also, remember they could just sign Sanders to a 10 day, and if a Deron Williams etc. becomes available they don't have to sign Sanders again.
 
Gonna say they probably won't sign Sanders. He's worked out with other teams and seemingly no one has been interested.

My guess, they brought him in just to see if he somehow still looked exactly like peak Larry Sanders, which would be almost impossible. If not, they're gonna pass.

I've been wrong before, though.
 
Windy said the other day, I think, that Sanders was the fallback plan for a big man. That is, if the Cavs could not get anyone else to fill the spot.

I'll take him, and I say that just because he is still relatively young at 28 years old. If we could keep him and Williams into next year (re-sign), that would make our 2nd unit younger and more athletic.

Of course, if Sanders has more issues then he's not an asset.

I hope we get him, and my guess is that we then trade/waive McRae and go pursue the backup PG we've been seeking.
 
I wonder if he's willing to sign a 10 day. It can't hurt to take a look at him.
 
How good of a rim protector was he? I know his BPG numbers were high but was he a real rim protector like Bogut or Gobert?

If we can't get Bogut I think option B should be Sanders, LeBron and CO could help him keep his head straight and focus on the right things.
