OT: Your All Time Favorite NBA Player

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I was a big fan of World B Free in the early 80's, I would feel bad if I didnt mention Floyd.
Me too. I loved his time with the Cavs, one of the few bright spots on the early 80s teams. I got to see him play in person. He was a little like Jordan Clarkson, but more athletic and intense on defense. He was never afraid to shoot it. There was one play where he was hit and falling backwards and sideways. He put up a rainbow shot and it went swish through the net.

Hakeem Olajuwon: loved his game, physicality, post game, and his hook shot. Loved shooting hook shots when I was a kid, until a coach told me to shoot with both hands even though I make. Never understood these type of coaches because I always believed if you can make em keep shooting.

Dominique Wilkins: very humble, hard working player, torn his Achilles and came back stronger and proved critics wrong. I got to have dinner with him once and he is one guy I highly respect as a player and as a person. His son is going to be good one day.

Gary Payton “Glove”: one of the best defenders and fought night after night guarding the best players and be able to create offensively, being a leader, score, and one of the best IQ on the court.

Chris Paul: I know he gets bad credit for flopping and complaining but I really like his game. Ability to shoot outside, great passer, good mid range, always wanted him to win a championship.

Rajon Rondo: he was always criticized with the Boston team but he worked hard and deserves a lot of credit. Such a crafty player, awesome defender, leader, high IQ, passing is phenomenal, makes clutch decisions and shot play-making.

Giannis: not many players these days still play for their franchise and want to keep being in the same team no matter what. These are the type of players I miss and lots of respect in improving his game and high character. You cannot dislike this guy.

And Donovan Mitchell but now he plays for us. Humble, hard working, willing to improve, builds off other talents and listens. Good on and off the court. Offensively talented. Love his game and looking to see how he does better with us.

The original kid from Akron. The Bullets always sucked, but Pearl and Gus were entertaining.
Gus was the first guy to break a back board in the league!
I’m here to tell you Earl, Gus and Wes were a force to be dealt with.

Andrei Kirilenko. Amazing defensive player. Was fun to watch him get blocks outta no where.

I’m one of those guys that pretty much hates anyone not on my team. That said, it was Barkley in the 90’s, Bibby in the early 00’s, Dirk in the 10’s, and Luka currently.

Loves Bibby and Dirk

Call me basic but I think fav player convo starts and ends with Lebron. Never felt like we should lose unless he put his head down. He sometimes did, but we’re all human.

In terms of other favs was always blown away by peak cerebral Rondo, hot off the bench Jamal Crawford/Lou Williams, Dwight Howard when he just shook guys off his body, Ray Allen and Rip Hamilton just dodging and weaving the whole game to get open for a second and tear your heart out, and hustle garbage players like Andy Varejao/Delly/Jerome Williams aka the junkyard dog (especially if they played for your team)

80s: Moses Malone and Dr J
90s: David Robinson and Karl Malone
00s: Shaq (Cavs years don't count) and Tim Duncan
10s: Dirk and CP3
