I'm going to need a lot more alcohol.

Kevin Love please

We didn't give up 'nothing.' You really think the Bulls called the Cavs and said "hey, we don't want shit." We have them picks. But honestly, fuck the picks.. I'd be with you if it were only the picks..

I'm just thinking we're going to look back at this in 5-7 years and say "lol.. remember when we had a chance to draft Jabari Parker, but opted for that Deng rental? Yeah... damn.. only if we'd have known."

I'm not knocking the trade. Grant was told to compete, not 2-3 years from now, but now.. He did a great job turning Bynum into Deng.. All day long. Guy deserves accolades for the trade.

I just question Gilbert's steadfast desire to compete now, rather than waiting.

Debbie, Debbie Downer....

Are sign and trades a thing of the past?

The picks probably won't turn into anything. Granted there is that chance they do. But I'm tired of playing the game of what could be in 5 years with all this fucking draft picks. Let's start winning. This was a winning move.

How much I like this trade depends entirely on how this year's trade deadline and offseason go.

LOVE this move! Cavs needed to resolve this position desperately and they picked up one of the best in the NBA. Can't forget the defense this guy plays, and whatever offensive production he brings is light years beyond what Gee or Clark will give. A+

But if he walks we gave up picks for nothing. I like that we finally have a SF of All star quality but if he walks it basically was putting a patch on the sinking ship.

Even if he doesn't want to re-sign here, we have his bird rights.

We can offer more than any other team + can use him in a sign & trade.

Either way, trading for an All-Star SF without giving up any of your best, significant assets is not a "desperation move"..

Extend NOW!!!!!

Conspiracy theory!!! What if this was all planned out by Bynum and the front office. Bynum pretends to be unhappy we trade him to a team that will cut him and then resign him for the rest of the year at full health and go onto win a chanpionship!

- Not a serious post so don't kill me...

We didn't have a chance to draft Jabari Parker unless Kyrie's knee scrape was going to keep him out 30 more games. If Irving would have played we probably win the last 2 games. The defense is already coming around and without Deng the team wouldn't have been this bad all year.
