Pittsburgh is a Horrible Sports City

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

Add that to the fact that the Penguins might be on the move with the best player at 19 years old and they can't even get behind that team.

Good point, I can't believe that the city refuses to give an inch with maybe the best player-before he's 20 years old. They have the LeBron James of Hockey, but just don't seem to care.

Maybe so, but Fenway, you cant even get a ticket there, its impossible, you have to either know someone or get lucky as hell, people pay up to 350 for a regular season ticket against a crappy team. I dont know how many sell outs in a row they have but i know every game has sold out for a while and whenever im back home, i cant get a ticket to save my life.

All together now, everyone bow down to Boston and the Red Sox and their amazing greatness... :allhail:

I don't like the Pirates at all, but PNC is an awesome stadium. I don't blame people for not supporting that team, their ownership is a joke. As far as the Steelers playing below capacity, I'd like to see that, as season tickets are on like a 15 year waiting list. AKA impossible to get. And the Pens won't be moving now that they got a stadium deal.

But yeah, the city sucks, large sections of it need to be firebombed and rebuilt.

I guess you guys are ignoring the fact that the stadium deal was done like a month ago? And the Pens sell out, it was the corrupt liberal local and state governments who were giving mario the Middle finger.

Thats really all i wanted to hear...

James, you know I'm just messing with you...

And I actually really liked PNC when I was there. I really like how it is on the river and you can see the bridge. It's a shame that the Pirates have been a joke for so long.

My only real beef with Pittsburgh is the Steelers... as a true Browns fan I can't stand that team (although I wish our franchise could be run as well as them someday). The putrid black and gold literally makes me sick to my stomach :puke:

When Cleveland gets 200+++ million to buy players away from other teams, we will see how fast the seats sell.

Fenway will always have these crowds. The history and mystique of that park will draw record crowds for years, as long as Boston is in the running with NYY. I'd love to attend a game there to be honest, as I view Boston #1 and Jacobs Field #2 as far as baseball stadiums. JF is much more well kept, but it would be fun to sit on top of that Green Monster.

Dude the Red Sox could suck ass and I would still pay $150 for a ticket, as would others. Fenway is amazing.

But yea, PNC is gorgeous, they did everything right with that stadium, i have seen 5 games at that park and its deffinitly worth the trip to go see a game there.

James,
The Red Sox are over halfway to approaching the Indians sellout record. But apparently, (according to yahoo.com), they inflate their attendance figures:
The Red Sox announced an attendance of 36,269 -- their 305th consecutive sellout -- though hundreds of seats were empty as the Sox finished up their first non-playoff season since 2002.

Yea, thats usually the case, they count "tickets sold" no the ammount of people that are actually IN the stadium. The 3 historic stadiums are like that, Cubs suck and they sell out all of the games they have at Wrigley.

If hundreds of fans don't show up, then why can't you get a ticket for face value?

James get over the red sox mystique, sp.

You have a small ass stadium and you havent come close to the Indians record. You get the high profile names, fork out huge money.

Cubs do not sell out all the time. another lie.

150 for a ticket. ok bro. :thumbdown

Have a small ass stadium, um ok its still one of the most historic baseball fields in America. And last i checked we were half way to the Indians record, and yes, it is hard to get a ticket, most of the time your only chance is a scalped ticket.

And yes, the Cubs are a hard ticket and there games are very well attended.

Hard to find much for under $100 thats a good seat, even seats in the triangle go for like 60, and thats in centerfield.
