Mobley can't order a drink yet. Highest ceiling and highest floor belong to Mobley. DG's emergence became so apparent when he was hurt and the Cavs dropped games against Detroit and Houston... but the Cavs couldn't win when Mobley went out either.

If Rubio stayed healthy and DG was hurt, I feel like the Cavs would still be headed to home court advantage.

Garland. Hes two years farther along. We're going to max both of them so we'll have Garland for 5 more years and Mobley for 7.

Not in the spirit of the question, but very good thinking and probably the right answer, lol.

Best line from a tread deadline was Perk when he said they call Porzingis a unicorn because of he size and ability to shoot, but they also call him a unicorn because we never see him on the court.

Off topic for sure, but hilarious.

It was Tim Legler and it was a great line but I wish he let the joke breath lol. I don't understand that deal at all and I'm guessing it's because Doncic didn't' want him on the team.

We need another mythical name for Mobley since the Unicorn label is cursed.

I went with the guy who got Bosh/Duncan/KG comps to start his career.

I love both of these guys and really do not want to have to pick between them. If forced to, I voted Mobley. What he offers is just so unique. Garland is amazing too, but there are other players with similar skillsets out there (Dame, Trae, Ja etc). There are more allstar PGs than All-D multiswitchable wing-bigs, I count 3: Giannis, AD, Mobley.

I am however also very greedy, so I am going to enjoy the fact that the Cavs have both these dudes and are going to be destroying everyone

We've had Kevin Johnson, Mark Price, Terrell Brandon, Andre Miller, Kyrie Irving, and Darius Garland all as All Star-level point guards.
Point guards are much easier to find than Baby Giraffes.

MOBLEY.

Eat that ass: turns out Andre Miller never was an all star. ROBBED.
Kyrie was more of a shooting guard, but even if I give you him, there's a big time gap between Miller and Irving. Also, you can count the number of true PGs on one hand in the current NBA.

Futuredome has to be editing the voting results…

Ok kids, we have a hypothetical here…

In this corner—-You have a 22 year old, All Star Point Guard who very well within a season or 2 could be the very best point guard in the entire league. Maybe even a top 5-10 player in the entire league.

He’s humble, everyone likes him, he’s fun to watch, skilled beyond belief and plays big in the 4th quarter…. Literally just scratching the surface of what he can be from arguably the most important position on the floor….Plus, it’s a guard’s league…

In the other corner you have a damn 20 year old unicorn…. A 7’0” big man who is so ridiculously talented for his age that it’s scary…. Nowhere near yet what he potentially can be from a front court position…. Then again, maybe he doesn’t get there ? Maybe he doesn’t develop a consistent jumper or plays with aggression. But then again if he does develop to what the projections are the sky is the limit…. However, he is a big. And again it’s a guards league….Another humble, high IQ, great player.

Obviously this an amazing problem to have since we can keep both….

But if you’re choosing to keep just 1, who is it ?

Fun hypothetical. Garland's ceiling? 25 ppg, 10 APG, perennial all-star. He'll run our offense and make everyone better. Mobley? 25 ppg too, 10 rpg
all-star as well. But Mobley also has DPOY potential, which puts him in the MVP candidate. Since I weigh the defensive side equal with the offensive, I have to go with Mobley.

Both since we can have two max contracts... why pick when we can have two lol

Mobley. Watching him tonight…WOW. Dude can take over a game without scoring

Surprised it's so one-sided.

It's the right vote, but I figured there'd be more in Garland's camp on this.

But Mobley has the higher ceiling and his floor is already pretty damn high 55 games into his career.
