Gregg Williams made a lot of tactical mistakes in this game. Not challenging a clear bad spot that Ravens would’ve forced a punt or 4th down conversion. Taking a timeout to challenge and then being told he’s lose both so not challenging.

He’s done an honorable job, but he does not deserve it permanently.

I think we all should see that now.

Yeah, I don't think anyone wants him back as head coach, but he should absolutely be interviewed as a courtesy.

I trust in Dorsey to make the right decision. They let Gregg be interm HC for a reason. The decision makers have watch him day in and day out since he got promoted. They have also watched Kitchens so hopefully they have a good picture of who is responsible for the culture change and massive turn around.

Well, he was fired from the Broncos in his first stint as a HC, and then there was the weirdness of him accepting the HC job with the Colts, but then backing out a few days later.

I’ll add that coaches had already signed to be his assistants with the colts. He straight up did them dirty.

Man, that would be a great get. I still prefer Arians first. He's such a well respected coach is going to attract top guys at both coordinator positions.

If he wants to keep Kitchens, fine, but if not, I'm not going to really sweat it either.

He’s already said he’d keep kitchens and he’s said that he wouldn’t call plays. He’d let his OC call plays.

I always thought he realize he was only getting one more shot at being a HC. I think Belichick will retire as HC when Brady is done. He might stay on as GM. McDaniels can keep the patroit way going and it's probably the best job to take for him no matter when it is. They probably will do their best to find him his QB before he official takes over as HC.

I mean, fuck, if we end up hiring McDaniels who was awful in Denver. I mean AWFUL. Sure, you could argue maybe he was too young. But not sure I buy it.

Players hated him and they didn't buy into anything he preached. He was nothing but arrogant and smug. Couldn't get players to respond. Sounds familiar?

Or Adam Gase, that's not been a good head coach at all.

I don't know what to say...

Those two might be fine offensive minds, but they've not shown they can lead a team of men at all.

I don't think McDaniels is leaving the Patriots. I think he is the HC in waiting. He will have everyone behind him there whenever he takes over.

I don't think he is either. I think its obvious he stayed because Bill has given McDaniels his walking date and he will take over next. Think its all been worked out.

Bill is 66. He's not coaching much longer.

Sure.... but once Tom Brady is gone, I’d rather be the Browns HC with Baker Mayfield.

His relationship with the Pats and Bill Belichick is already there and likely gives you much better security; compared to a team that you have no relationship with at all...

Even with Baker Mayfield, I mean you can get into the playoffs. Then expectations gets bigger. And when the bigger expectations aren't met, you can be shown the door.

I don't think Bill is retiring permanently. I think he will be moving into full position of GM/president and continue building the Pats.

They are a good organization, and I'm sure McDaniels trusts in that.

When there are relationships and trust already there, its hard to walk away from that.

McDaniels has no reason to trust people here he's not familiar with.

Just saw on Twitter that Browns are interviewing McCarthy. Interest is real.
