Movies make me cry all the time, shit's great.

Same here. Mrs. Tip drops that nugget if she thinks I'm getting too big for my britches.

Glory always gets me. The last scene when they're assaulting that fort is shot beautifully, and you feel all the terror and emotions those soldiers must have felt.

Movies (not even getting into TV or sports moments) that make me cry:

Schindler's List - from "I could've done more" all the way through the grave scene with the survivors I'm a weepy mess
Saving Private Ryan - "tell me I'm a good man"
Up - of course the beginning is great but the Adventure Book gets me the hardest, shout out to the Ellie badge as well
St. Vincent - the kid's presentation
Toy Story 3 - "so long, partner"
Inside Out - BING BONG
Return of the Kind - "My friends... You bow to no one."
It's A Wonderful Life - "To my brother George, the richest man in town!"
(I'll probably edit this list to add to it later...)

I'm so easily manipulated by film though. If I'm watching something for the first time I'm never ahead of it because my mind stays in the moment. Even really predictable movies surprise me like I'm a moron. And I get goosebumps when Arnold yells "Jamie!" in Jingle All The Way because as I just said, I'm a moron.

The only issue is going to a movie theater with friends. Bill Burr does a great job explaining the feeling (though not about movies):

It's like vagina envy almost. I have to buck up at the theater instead of being vulnerable but women get to be fags.

Schindler's List - The part with the nazi pin and how he could have done more hits me like a ton of bricks. Also the guy fishing for the ring in the shit vat. I met a survivor while doing my clinicals years ago- when I saw the numbers tattooed on her arm. Gave one hell of a reality check.

Saving Private Ryan - I've known several WWII vets, a handful who stormed the beaches of Normandy, or were Marines who were at Iwo Jima and Guadal Canal. That scene at the end reminds me of so many of them, men carrying an untold weight that drove them to make the most of themselves. That scene, oddly enough, made my 20 year old brain start to understand them.

Toy Story 3- my nieces and nephews grew up loving these movies and the timing of the movies mirrored their own growth. Reminds me of them :)

Lone Survivor- I heard about the story of Michael Murphy several years ago when starting to attempt a workout named in his honor called 'Murph'. It became a goal of mine to be able to complete it, both as a personal goal and as a way to honor those who have made those kind of sacrifices- what is 50 minutes of pain for me? Its not, quit my bitching and keep on. So to see a glimpse of who he was and see it all portrayed was emotional. The roll call at the end got me, which I guess it always should in a movie.

I'll add more, Akronite just jogged my memory of these.

I went to see this in theaters with my two best friends the summer before our senior year of high school. It was tough to choke back the tears at the movies with two dudes. Then I went again with my family. The ending gets me but my mom cried at the part where Andy's mom walks into his empty room, what a great film.

I cry while I'm watching Stranger Things sometimes. Kinda like a nostalgia cry if that makes sense?

A strange thing watching Stranger Things ? It does not get stranger than that!

Bad Movie Shoutouts - Dont watch them unless u have absolutely nothing better to do:

This movie used the hype as "the worst movie ever made" as a marketing ploy. And I once went to see it because of that hype:

As I've gotten older, emotional moments get me so easily. I can't list them all.

Off the top of my head anyway,

Fellowship of the Ring:
Boromir's death. Such a wonderful noble, agonizing death. Aragorn's manly tear sets me off.
Star Trek II: TWOK: Obvious, when I was a kid it made me cry. However, if I am watching it in the theater with a lot of people, the collective emotion can sometimes get to me.
Transformers the Movie (1986): Optimus Prime's death. Made me cry as a kid, as it did everyone. For those in my age group Prime was like a surrogate father. His sacrifice and death came as a shock considering no one ever died in the tv show.
Lawrence of Arabia: At the end of the film, when Lawrence is being driven away after finding out he'll be leaving the desert for good. It doesn't make me cry, but it is a profoundly sad moment when he realizes that after spending his life searching for meaning, he is now being cast aside after finding the very thing he was looking for. He realizes how hollow the rest of his life will be.

Not a movie:
Futurama: The Luck of the Fryish: You know why.
The Flash: Fast Enough: Last episode of Season One when Barry gets to say good-bye to his dying mother after choosing not to save her when he could, because it would disrupt the timeline. Gustin and the actress who plays his mother sell the shit out of that scene.

Plan 9 is truly terrible, and not intentionally so. But it is actually fun because of the cheesy seriousness with which it was made.

But I recently saw something so much worse
than Plan 9 - or anything else I've ever seen. Completely incomprehensible - jaw droppingly bad. As matter of fact, if someone here watches it and can honestly say it's not one of the three worst movies they've ever seen, I'll toss $10 at RCF.

It's free if you've got Amazon Prime, though they should pay you to watch it:

476 A.D. The Last Light of Aries

Go ahead. I dare you. Fair warning - if you think there is something wrong with your stream of the movie during the first 20 minutes...there isn't.

And don't be fooled by the 2.5 stars. It's pretty clear the director and his cronies padded the ratings.

One thing that made Plan 9 so bad is half way through filming, one of the main actors died. He was really tall. The recast the part with a short guy playing the same role. They didn't refilm any of the scenes, and I don't think they filmed anything in order (it's been a while since I watched it), so two different actors who looked nothing alike were back and forth playing the same character.
