RCF Fantasy Hoops Vets League 2010-11

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Heh heh, I know what you mean.

How about Czvosec picking up Erden already... :chuckles: ...that is some serious faith on ALL fronts, my friend...

I'm struggling. I've lost 2 of 3, and my front line (namely Hibbert and McGee) appears to have hit the wall. I need some new blood. I'll be banking on Semih getting 7-8 boards a game. I might be reaching... but my Cavalier gambles have paid off for the most part.

It's cool ISHT.

Most of us that have played a while have seen too many leagues wrecked at the end when someone dumps their whole roster on the waiver wire right before playoffs. So I'm just protecting the time everyone has put into playing.

As far as League Votes for trades, I have never seen that work. It's about impossible in most leagues to to get a majority to vote for anything at the end of the year. Who knows though, this group is pretty good at keeping up. Only 2 people out of 16 have dead teams, which is pretty freaking amazing.

I'm not dumping anyone, I'm just letting people now if they need rebounds or points or fg%, I'm willing to trade. Like I said I'm not doing any lobsided stuff, I don't want to come in last place.

My front line is a paper tiger so I feel your pain. &@#%ing Milwaukee media didn't get around to mentioning Ilyasova had a concussion in practice the day before.

What's the big idea? I only was going to trade my best player for his second best and get his injured player, so it's definitely fair. WHY WAS IT REJECTED? ON THE LAST DAY OF DEADLINES?

That's hardly fair. We were out of the race anyways...

Trade was unfair

After your giving away players trade to Karma earlier, even I had to vote against this one.

And that's to say Kobe wouldn't start sitting more or Paul would have some explosive games left in the Fantasy season?

Seriously, just flawed logic. Anything goes... with less than 2 weeks left with 2 guys who are out of the race?

Alright fine. But I'm gonna clinch a playoff spot in the future, sooner or later. Maybe not this year, but sometime...

Are they talking about our trade or a different one?

The last one. I wanted a strong change one last time because I didn't like my team. I was willing to keep doing other trades, but we ran out of time. Besides, you and me are tied. What were we gonna do? Place 8th? When 16+ games behind? I wanted some new swingmen and guess I couldn't get it done.

Learnt lesson: Don't wait to make trades to the end.

How is our trade unfair? I give you Bosh and Pierce for Kobe and Noah. The points are about the same. Pierce and Bosh rebound better and shoot twice as many free throws with a higher fg %. How can you tell they voted against it? It doesn't say anyhting on my end.

JIGO was offering me JAMEER AND SHANNON BROWN for Pierce and BOSH! X was offering me FELTON AND CHANDLER (after the Knicks/Nuggests trade) for Pierce and BOSH. They were just pissed because I didn't take take their trash for my 2nd and 3rd best players.

It doesn't matter though since we were out anyway, like I said before I just didn't want to come in last and I FUCKING HATE CHRIS BOSH!

As of last night, your trade hadn't been veto'd. It was still showing as pending, as was my trade with Randolph. What happened to those pending trades I don't know.

I didn't see any one-sided trades. If I did I would've pulled the plug on them. That said, understand the pending trades may still be in cyberspace limbo. Why we can't *see* them like usual- I don't know. I've always assumed it takes a majority of the league to overturn a trade, and frankly, I don't see that happening. Guess we'll find out the date below, Mar 5.

The Fantasy Basketball Trade Deadline
Last Updated: March 03, 2011

Trades must be offered and accepted prior to 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on the day of your deadline in order to be processed. Yahoo! will continue to process trades after the deadline, provided that they were agreed upon prior to the deadline.

For example, if your league features a March 3rd trade deadline (which ours does), teams may accept trade offers until 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on March 3rd. After that time, no new offers may be proposed and no existing offers may be accepted.

If the same league featured a 2-day review period, a trade accepted on March 3rd would process after the review period expired at 11:59 p.m. on March 5th. In a Custom League, the commissioner may approve trades after the deadline, again assuming it was pending prior to the deadline.

Actually it's 1/3 must vote against to overturn.
If your Custom League is configured to use the League Vote option (ours is) , one-third of the league managers must vote against the trade in order for it to be vetoed. For example, if your league has 12 teams, then four votes against the deal are needed to veto the trade.

In a Customer League, the commissioner or the league managers have veto power for the length of time chosen during configuration. (Yeah, then there's that :chuckles: )

Yeah, they messed it up. From the main League page:
We are currently working to resolve a known issue with trades not being displayed that were accepted prior to the Trade Deadline passing. We apologize for any confusion this issue causes and we hope to have it resolved very soon.
