I believe the rep point situation is only a drama when people are disrespectful. They then receive negative points, but huff and puff about it. If your comments are reasonable Chosen1, there will be no issue.

Chosen1, the rep point feature hasn't been abused since I made this thread. It has been used in a mature manner. If your complaint relies on your current point scale, then I suggest mabey to re-reading your posts and figuring out why that happend.
Also, I have no idea why you think this community is young. You must not know the members very well. Most of us are over 18, we are just a witty bunch. That happens when you post together for a long time. People start to act "silly". We even had a poll set up in OT to figure what the age group of the board is. And the 18 and ups overpowered the younger guys.

I was not complaining about my rep total by any means and don't care about what others think of me.
Why don't you check out vbulletin.org and look at some hacks? You can find far better features than having to add this rep system for "spice".

I checked vbull.org. There is some nice things on there that I would like to add. But there isn't too much I want to do to the site. I like to keep this place as "stock" as possible. Looks good for that professional look.
