Crazy what a difference (not even) a year makes. At the beginning of the year, even with our dipshit lame-duck head coach in place, if you'd have told me Freddie Kitchens was going to be our head coach in January, I would have:

1. Asked you who the hell you were talking about.
2. Laughed at you.
3. Googled Freddie Kitchens and laughed even harder.

That said... let's goooo!

The list of defensive coaches that Kitchens has worked with in the past who are still available is not what I would call spectacular.

Hopefully Freddie has some contacts around the league he can tap into to find a quality DC.

Cross your fingers and pray.

I heard Greg Schiano is looking for work.

Wait...

... oh God.

Winston Moss is a guy to look out for. Coached in Green Bay under Dorsey and he has worked with Damarious Randall and future Brown Clay Matthews Jr.

I am equally excited to hear that there was a potential standoff between Dorsey and DePodesta and Haslam stuck to his word regarding Dorsey getting the final say in choosing a HC.

That's almost a bigger indicator to me that times might actually be changing, despite the success we saw last year.

Childress as OC with Freddie calling plays?

And the show goes on

Yeah, no 3/4.

Exactly, we shouldn't want to waste picks on scheme change player and lose a current players too. I wouldn't mind a hybrid scheme and going after one or two nose tackles in free agency. So many wasted picks over the years from just change our scheme.
