Sarunas Signs?

According to http://www.sportime.gr, Saras has agreed and the contract only a matter of time. He seems to have been settled in agreeing for 10 mil. for 3 years and is guaranteed the starting job.
Also, Marty Andriuskevicius is also said to play for one more year in Zalgiris and then come to the U.S. to become Ilgauskas' back-up...

I don't know how realiable the site is if someone randomly knows greek try to translate the whole thing out for us.

According to a Lithuanian site Sarunas has agreed to sign with the Cavaliers for around 3 million per season. A lot of teh stuff in Lithuanian is english but it's fairly easy to translate some stuff like in there Kev'lent is Cleveland and the Z word is Ilgauskas and stuff...but yeah according to this site and many people on realgm Saras will sign with the Cavaliers for 3 million a season it's just a matter of time until they announce it or he signs.

I hope he signs not just for the rep points but because he is a Tier 1 Shooter, amazing vision the likes of what we have seen from LeBron, great slashing guard with a fiery playing style and heart and passion. If we can get him I think we are not just a shoe in for the playoffs but a lock...cmon SIGN!

Hope this rumor is true. I think it is though. Seems like when there's a transaction in the NBA that involves an international player, the country or continent that player is from is usually first to report it. Like the Battie for AV and Drew trade the first to report it was a Brazilian paper.

10mil for 3 years would be great. I was expecting us to get in a bidding war with Indiana and ending up paying him full MLE money.

Danny Ferry has done it again. By resigning Ilgauskas he has been able to get two birds with the one stone. A very valuable stone. Saras will again like Z, be a great compliment for Hughes and LeBron. His court vision and outside shooting will see him become an instant contributor.

This isn't an official done deal yet but it does appear to only be a matter of time before Sarunas is signed. He should be a great fit whose game wil be a nice compliment to his teammates games. It's always a good sign when the Spurs and Pacers have shown major interest in a player like they have with Sarunas.

The official word on his signing might wait until the PF situation is sorted out. It does seem the Cavs would like to move Gooden and get either Haslem or a different type of PF in place.

If, if , IF we pick up Saras for sure... We are going to be so exciting to watch itll be sick. This guys got a LOT of charisma too. Fans will LOVE him esp. when he makes those passes. Between Saras, Bron, and Varejao, (and Gooden to some extent) you got some guys who will draw and fire up a crowd. Can you imagine Saras, LeBron, Hughes (dont forget Varejao) on the break together?

How about those guys breaking back and forth with the Phoenix Suns. We are going to be one exciting team. If this is our team we may start out sketchy on d, but until Brown gets his d scheme in place we will be a fiery and fast team out there.

If we can add a little more depth maybe like Shareef Madsen or some veteran bench guys. We could be a lot like the Spurs they had Duncan Ginobs Parker. Duncan=Z Ginobs=Hughes Parker=Jasikevicius oh and we got this other dude name LeBron he seems like he could be alright lol. But seriously plus Gooden AV Snow Newbs and if we can get some bench guys. We will be a legit force in the East. It will be fun to play teams we used to go down to the wire with Boston New Jersey Knicks 76ers and just beat up on them lol..can't wait to play Charlotte and Atlanta thats an easy 8
