Series #17: Cleveland Indians v Oakland A's - May 29th, 30th, 31st, and Jun 1st

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
His splits in save situations and not save situations say he's pretty dominant. Not sure what you're watching.
and the Indians win 100% of the games in which they score more runs than the other team.

Cody Allen is great, he was beyond human in the postseason, but dare people knock something about him and it's a crime.

He has to improve his outings and I'm sure he will. Today, the Reds outing, just a rock in the road.
Sums up my feelings exactly

He is not at all a concern of the team but he hasn't been his usual self. It will be fine. But he hasn't been lights out. That's been his teammate Miller. Who is barely even human at this point

I guess I'll just keep appreciating our stud closer.

It's not such a bad life enjoying the nice things we have.

Agreed. Just some bumps in the road. Happens to even the best of them. I even said that he was phenomenal "prior to these last two outings."

I'm just of the belief that in a long season it's not wise to react to such small sample sizes.

I knew that one was coming :chuckle:

And just so you know, I turn the game off if he's coming in on a tie game. It's not a spot I like him in even though it makes sense.

Miller might be the only guy living up to last year at this point

Must win game. A three game win streak would be the stuff of legends.

Until you realize it's Trevor and not Jack taking the bump.
He's actually been throwing the ball really well since he got shelled in Detroit nearly a month ago. I have quite a bit of confidence in Bauer to go get us the W tonight.

They are comparing him to Miller who happens to be the most dominant reliever in baseball right now.

Allen has been good, but Miller has been absolute lights out. (except 1 bad game)

Hopefully with Kluber coming back and Clevinger looking good, we can bring some stability to our starting pitching and they can all start pitching up to expectations, not just Carasco and Clevinger. (Clevinger has actually been better than expected so far)
