Series 30 Angels @ Indians

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Waited til it was over to make sure I didn't jinx anything but great game for Bauer. I mostly still loathe him but he masterfully got out of that jam in the 7th and then cruised through a seven pitch 8th inning against Revere, Trout, and Pujols.

Majority of the baseball analysts including some guys like bimbo on here expected the Royals to be sellers right now. They didn't have the Royals in contentions/anywhere close in the race and since they are then no point in selling now. If they weren't close they would have traded most of the guys already. Many baseball analysts said before the winter meetings that it a high probability they will trade guys at the winter meetings. If you think I have a bad take then read what people said who are main guys in the baseball world said about the Royals and what they do this season.

It's more so what fans/analysts said or felt at the beginning of the season has literally zero relevance right now. Circumstances and expectations have clearly changed.

Back to your previous post, the Royals draw a bigger attendance and stuff the AS ballots but saying their fans don't boo their players and are "a lot better at accepting what needs to be done than our group of fans" is completely unsubstantiated and you're rambling nonsense.

Did somebody say streaking?

It'd be cool if the Royals would go away.

Sucks the game was during the day, couldn't watch or listen. But glad they won. They are feasting on mediocre squads right now which is what they should be doing in this portion of the schedule. Just wish the Royals would start losing.

Wow, great take. You're basically saying that, during the offseason, the opinion was"If the Royals are out of contention near the trade deadline, expect them to trade players who they won't be able to re-sign."

Guess what? That's every god damn team.

Like what the fuck is even being argued about in here? I really don't even get it.

That's absolutely fantastic that analysts believed that. What I'm saying is how ridiculous it is to FACTUALLY STATE how a large populace is going feel about something when in reality you haven't the slightest idea.

Anything @sportscoach says just rubs them the wrong way for fuck know what reason, so they go after it like hyenas.

From the outside, what he's saying mostly just seem like harmless, obvious takes that if said by anyone else would either get 1-2 likes or blow by unnoticed like a fart in the wind. Either that or harmless incorrect takes that should probably also just be ignored.

Everyone else seems like petty cunts whenever he posts. He comes off like a nice guy who just keeps stumbling into traps.

Either way, he sucks and I can't stand him.

I lik sportscoach but you might want to go back and read his posts about Zimmer

Synopsis:

Takes unreasonably hard stance preseason on Zimmer not being able to contribute at all this year

After contributing at a high level all year nitpicks small flaws in his game for why he should be sent down even though he's outperforming others in the outfield and is by far our best defensive outfielder

Then digs heels deeper and deeper insisting we trade for a veteran outfielder to see less of the Zim Zam

The coach digs his own holes, we just like piling the dirt. :chuckle:

What is funny is the fact every single time I say Zimmer needs to do this or Zimmer is going to be put down, he starts tearing the cover off the ball. Maybe I need to keep up the negative Zimmer posts since he seems to play better whenever I say them! So Zimmer, you will be sent down on the 31st if you don't keep up the hitting!!! :chuckle:

I am not here to be liked, I am here to be different and the opposite of everyone else and get this place moving (or hating depending on who is reading my posts lol) :celb (7): I am as much of a sports fanatic as a lot of people on here, but I am not afraid to say what I think could happen in different scenarios and whether people like it or not is up to them and I am a fairly hardheaded and stubborn fellow, but that is a trait that runs in the family.

I've been around Royals fans, no offense to a lot of Cleveland fans, but they support their team a lot better than Cleveland fans overall do. They are more willing to accept the small market attitude than Cleveland fans do. Also they try to out vote the teams like the Yankees and the Red Soxs when it comes to the all-star voting.

from 2003-2015, the Royals sold 56% of possible tickets, Indians have sold 51% at a bigger seated stadium (It was larger before the 2015 renovation now it is smaller). Royals went 948-1158 and 8 of the season was 90 or more losses. The Indians have gone 1036-1070 and had 4 seasons of 90 or more losses. The Indians have not had a losing season since 2013 but yet rank one of the worst in attendance for baseball.

Aka my point is this if the trades were done before the season started, the Royals fans would have still showed up and supported the team. We signed the top free agent hitter this past offseason and we are still at the bottom in attendance. If we decided to sale instead of buy, we wouldn't have had any fans show up since they still don't show up to ball games even though we are one of the best clubs in baseball.
