I mean, we have them both through 2021. That's still another 3 seasons after this one. That qualifies as years to come I think. After 2021, all bets are off. It is very possible we go into a rebuild at that point, but hard to see that far into the future. For all we know some other studs may step up before then to fill holes and keep the window going.
At this point I am just very confident in how the organization drafts and runs their front office. Probably one of the best in MLB in that regard. Francona won't be around forever, though, so I'm hoping that we can replace him when he does go with someone that possesses and brings similar credibility (and great managing) to the team.
