I hope Tito is weighing the option of possibly batting Donaldson cleanup. It just maximizes our chances of competing for gold in my opinion.

Him being healthy has various ways of getting on base rather than Edwin. Plus, he's scared of nothing and ready for the moment.

But related to tonight’s game, what caused that reaction?

In the actual playoffs, Perez, Hand, Miller, and Hand would all be in play in an important situation from the 5th/6th on. Bieber or whoever would be in a hypothetical situation like that would have been pulled way sooner before that inning got out of hand. And given some of the other teams shaky bullpen situations of late, what team is really feeling dominant and confident about their bullpen?

I’m not a nervous fan so no diapers necessary. What will be will be.

Yesterday’s game in which none of our top5 relievers pitched still has no bearing on how Hand and Miller are performing in individual games or overall.

If I was BOS I’d have just as many concerns about the the teams they will face in the playoffs. That regular season record doesn’t carry over and the rosters of HOU, CLE, NY, and OAK are all no joke.

There is no presumptive can’t be beaten team in the major leagues right now. The team we root for is clearly not perfect or a favorite but I’m ready for the playoffs and fully aware of all the various possible outcomes as well as how we have played all season long.
