Series Three - Seattle Mariners vs. Cleveland Indians - April 8, 9, 10

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Wait a second, I thought this was a crappy team with no talent? That's what many kept saying this past offseason...

Please don't get cocky 9 games into a 162 game season. If we are keeping this up 30-40 games into the season, I will be fully on the bandwagon. Right now, I am excited and very happy, but it's 9 games, 6 of which were against teams that are STRUGGLING.

Eeeeeeasy now....easy does it. Dangerous line you're walking.

Jered Weaver pitched today so it looks like we're gonna avoid him in our series.

Exactly, plus add in this nice weather we got today and I think dollar dog night on friday (I think) and there should be a lot of fans there.

Yes it is $1 dog night, but its supposed to get colder progressively this coming week. Not 30-40's but still.

My original 7-155 prediction is still in play...

Hey guys, I'm going to get the Angels series thread up and going right now... give me a few! 7-2, #TriveFever!

I'm sure if they would've started 2-7, everyone here would have said "hey, it's only 9 games". I don't care if it's nine games - the young talent is starting to come through, and guys like Chisenhall, Kipnis, Pomeranz, White, Hagadone, etc haven't even arrived yet. I'm not saying they're going to win the World Series here, but there's a lot more talent on this team than people give them credit for. My opinions haven't changed - I think they'll finish around .500 this year, and make the playoffs in 2012.

And for as much shit as I take (and a few others take) for supporting the Indians rebuild, you better believe I'm going to gloat when they are looking good...I'd be getting made fun of and ripped alive if it was a 2-7 start, and we all know it.

It's just too bad that they have to be in 1st place a 3rd of the way into the season for most to jump on the bandwagon.

I better watch out...if they start losing, people might start saying the Indians suck, Dolan is cheap, and that I'm a shill for the Tribe...you're right, I better watch it...don't want that to happen...;)

I dunno. LaPorta looks lost, and Santana is pretty cool right now...but the pitchers look solid at this point.
