Please don't get cocky 9 games into a 162 game season. If we are keeping this up 30-40 games into the season, I will be fully on the bandwagon. Right now, I am excited and very happy, but it's 9 games, 6 of which were against teams that are STRUGGLING.

I fully expect us to come back to earth - but it is nice to start the season with some excitement rather than disappointment.

We are playing well now and will be adding Sizemore, Donald, Phelps and possibly Chiz / White this year - so there is a reason to be excited.

Really, more than the wins, my excitement is over the play of Masterson and Carrasco. I really didn't see us competing until 2013 but if they pan out and we add White and Pomeranz (plus all of our position prospects) we could make noise next year.

We will come back down to Earth, but even so, I feel like the team might have a shot at .500 this year. I didn't think that before the season.
