Hello hello. Looks like somebody got a cookie for that post.
Z. Shaq. On the same team. What do they do?
They compliment each other. They end up supporting each other... even if they NEVER see the court together.
Why, you ask? Surely you jest! Two big guys that are 7 feet tall. Size causes mismatches all the time. Their styles of play counteract each other and force opponents to adjust based on who's on the floor. By having each guy play 24 or less minutes, their health improves. Back issues won't act up even close to as quick. And if one's in foul trouble, the other can be utilized more. They both alter shots. And LeBron should easily play off of both. If one needs the rest, the other can pick up the slack (assuming the Cavs do what the Suns did to keep Shaq healthy, rest for back-to-backs). Outside. Inside. Inside. Outside. Perfect.
And who cares if foot speed's a little off? One's about the muscle, the other's good for putbacks. One shoots the outside jumper with ease. The other bullies his way into double teams, paying back guys with outside shots or LeBron alley oops.
At least, that's what I saw from having these two 7 foot behemoths, if only a little older than they used to be. (they were high quality guys back in the day...)
