Since when does every thread that involves the Cavaliers and has LeBron's name in it belong in the "LeBron 2010" thread???

First, I think the idea of having that thread is dumb. It keeps people from commenting on your forums, that otherwise would post.

Second, I think that the forum loses credibility when members come and make a thread, then it gets moved to a thread that is never read.

If the thread was about New York, etc taking LeBron, etc. That may qualify to be moved to a junk-bin, but (for example) the thread I made called "The strategy" talks about the Cavaliers' strategy as a team. Just because LeBron is a part of the team doesn't mean that every damn thread he's mentioned in needs to be moved.

And if you think I'm wrong... then why move my thread, and not W & G's??? It had as much to do with LeBron 2010 as mine did.

I wont be coming back here for an answer, because I have learned that a lot of things here have changed since this forum first opened, and I dont want to read a bunch of "Heath your an idiot... Heath go die, etc, etc"

This isn't Real Cavs Fans.... this is a forum with people that are full of themselves.

I couldn't agree more

Not really when its in the "Trade Ideas" thread. It's called an "idea" for a reason. I agree somewhat with what Heath is saying, not all of it, but some. He does make a good point when talking about the whole W & G thing. I understand all the information that W&G brings to this forum is excellent, but why should some people be singled out and not others.

It's not the same case, not even close. W&G provided an inside look, that was a detailed expose (even said so in the title). It dealt somewhat with the 2010 LeBron thread but provided an inside look at a figure that could be, or is, causing all of the 2010 commotion. I, for one, am glad it wasn't thrown into the 2010 thread with espn articles and generic opinions, because I would've missed out on a good piece that provides depth on an inside figure that W&G has met more times than anyone on this board combined. Heath's post on the other hand was the same 2010 hysteria garbage that keeps the stickied thread going. "Should we trade LeBron before 2010?" Are you really surprised that this was singled out and a detailed expose on Wes Wesley wasn't?

I was wondering about the W&G post as well, and thought it was unfair to Heath. I think everything Heath said shoulda been moved to the LeBron thread, but it should be all inclusive with W&G's exposes and stuff.

What is weirdest to me is why Heath got banned. Sure, he talked to much, made stupid trade threads, and I didn't care for him, but he was just raising some questions about the site.

Heath induced drama.... :yay:

W&G is not only a member of this staff, but he's a member with insider knowledge..As a staff member (and I'm sure every other staff member as well as the majority of the members will agree) that we all have 100% confidence that W&G has enough common sense to throw a blurb or two in the 2010 thread, but if HE feels something needs a spot light on it, he will create a thread that touches on a different angle on it... The velvet rope is always pulled back for W&G because he's earned that right...

The trade LeBron stuff is/was retarded... Sorry to be so blunt, but it was flat out retarded... And furthermore, if that's the route anyone is going to take, you have two options there...2010 thread, but more preferably the TRADE section...

About "The strategy"-- it was nothing more than the same old same old... Was it well thought out ?? I suppose... Nonetheless, one of the first replies was the following:

Very interesting "strategy", it really isn't very far fetched. Although the post still belongs in the 2010 thread...

So it's not just the STAFF (mainly ME) picking on you, Heath..

See, what you don't tend to compute here is that it's not just what you see... We get complaints regarding the redundancy of this topic, and most of the posters appreciate the fact that it's being condensed into one area....

Again, you have complained, and complained, and complained on many things about the board... So I don't understand why you're here ?? A place like Cavs.com would eat your content up and love it... I'm sure...

Yet, you fight and fight and fight about betting back on the board... If you don't like it ?? Just go away...

I have no problem if you stick around, I just don't really understand why you do ??

glad it wasn't thrown into the 2010 thread with espn articles and generic opinions

So W&G's opinions get to be heard but not anyone else's? It has completely to do with LeBron 2010. It is something that W&G put time into and wrote just like many other people's opinions including Heath. W&G is great, and I'm glad he's here on RFC, but shouldn't be treated any different. :thumbdown

If you think that expose is limited to the 2010 LeBron thread, you must not have read it. He started it off by explaining that this is something he's wanted to write about for a long time, but never has. He has inside knowledge of Williams' strong influence in the NBA world, not even just as it pertains to LeBron. The scope of this piece isn't limited to LeBron's 2010 choice, thus should not be limited to that thread. An inside look at the workings of a mystery man like Williams can be read and enjoyed far outside of any context. The same cannot be said for a "trade LeBron" thread, however.

P.S. What is the official reason for Heath's banning?

The only reason I agree with this thread is because there are some posts I don't even bother reading anymore. Anything other than the first post and some key opinions always seem to be redundant IMO (including many or even most of mine). If it doesn't deserve its own thread it feels less post worthy. I don't care if it doesn't change though because it is probably hard to organize like 9999999999999 posts about LeBron leaving and you guys are great mods/staff members (whatever you prefer). Maybe a new forum section :) jk

W&G's and your threads in regards to 2010 should be in the 2010 sticky. It was an idea that many of us agreed upon as it wasn't just a deliberate act by the mods. Most of us are sick and tired about focusing on 2010 while we continue to blow out opponents this season. It truly is annoying and it all belongs in one thread, just like we don't need 5 about Zach Randolph. I prefer it in the 2010 thread so I can ignore it rather then seeing 7 on the main forum. There is literally NOTHING new to be said about him leaving. It has all been stated, every point, every stance, on repeat. It's old.

As true as it is that W&G may have "earned" what he does with his thoughts, it's pretty unfair.

Bottom line, everyone is attacking Heath for making a thread about 2010, which is a dime a dozen. Then W&G makes one and because he's "special" nobody says anything and he gets rep while Heath gets his thread thrown into the dumpster that is the LeBron 2010 thread?

Not that I like Heath or his retarded posts, but it's the core problem that I'm looking at and thinking "WTF?"

And frankly, Wine and Gold has caused as much if not more drama with his posts than Heath. Heath is annoying, but most of his trade ideas are based on the snippets of insider info W&G posts. It drives people crazy trying to figure out what's going to happen, and the ensuing surge of trade and LBJ threads has made a huge disturbance in our once peaceful forum.

In conclusion, let's try to treat people a little more equally (myself included) and have fun with these ideas and thoughts instead of focusing too much on it and attacking each other.

It can be deemed unfair, and I understand that, but again, W&G has earned that right...

W&G was touching on a subject that was completely different from anything else that was posted... The staff does have the right/authority to make an arbitrary decision in regards to what goes on... If Heath would have dropped the Williams Wesley thread, it would not have been moved...

Not that I like Heath or his retarded posts, but it's the core problem that I'm looking at and thinking "WTF?"
Think of it this way though, it's not your problem to deal with...:)

W&G is an asset to this board...We appreciate what he brings us...There may be bumps in the road from time to time, but he's not looking to stir up anything and is not looking to be provocative..That's never been his motives... Furthermore, the bolded part is part of the problem within your line of thinking as well... Trade scenario threads = Trade section..

In conclusion, let's try to treat people a little more equally (myself included) and have fun with these ideas and thoughts instead of focusing too much on it and attacking each other.

Agreed...

Again, keep the 2010 LeBron stuff in the LeBron thread... If there's something out there that is different from the norm, by all means share it with us all....

the reason thye move your threads are cuz of some of the stupid stuff your post. such as trading for amare and bell and giving up all our team almost

or how about the joe johnson one

or the new one webster, frye, przz for west and jj

you have lost all credibility with me. and all you talk about is lebron in 2010. most of us would rather talk about this season and the shot we have at a championship but all you talk about are these long giant posts about lebron in 2010 and make stupid trade ideas that i dont even consider possible. just leave if you dont like it here.

please do us all a favor and :gtfo:

and also w & g's posts are smart and well thought out and he has insider info and delivers it in a great way and isnt looking to stir up drama like a 6th grade girl back in middle school, your post on the other hand not so much

KingBoobie1, I wouldn't criticize Heath too much because a lot of your posts are rehashed versions are what have already been said with worse grammar and punctuation.

Example: Compare Pip's post to your own and you'll find that he capitalized the first letters and put periods at the ends of basically the same sentences you wrote.

And Pip, I get what your saying, but I think some behavior on both ends of Heath v Admin have been a bit extreme. Good talk.
