So Sammy went from prince to frog in one night. I agree dead legs will do that and not every player knows how to get through back to backs being able to function at 100% when the lactic acid levels shoot sky high.

For me it all comes back to JBB being clueless about how to rotate players, utilize the bench, in such a way as to give back bench guys enough run to get in a rhythm while at the same time keeping your starters fresher. JBB has a knack for just running everybody into the ground.

The problem with Merrill is that if his shot isn't falling, he hurts you otherwise. Not saying he doesn't have his uses, but there's a reason why he's pretty far down the bench.

Don’t disagree with the rest of his game/ability… but his shooting isn’t an anomaly. His legs, footwork and form are near perfect. He’s a perfect 8th/9th man sniper off of the bench. Problem is, we’re playing him a ton of mins right now because the roster is decimated.

He really needs to be a threat that the Cavs play 15 minutes a night. Have to figure JB is going to take him out of the playoff rotation if he doesn't start hitting again to finish out the season.
