So long, Kay Felder

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Kay was unrealistically bad yesterday.

I'm not giving up on him long term, but he should be with the Charge indefinitely.

He can't afford to be as bad as he was on offense when he has a case to being the worst defender on the team

He's a rookie 2nd round pick.

It's going to take some time for him to develop, get over it.

And the definition of a wasted spot is Birdman.

Develop into what exactly?
He is always going to be horrifically undersized for the pro league and a defensive liability. Teams will be licking their chops anytime he steps foot in the floor.
This isn't college ball the talent level and size is a whole different monster.

Look at nate Robinson everything he did was a spectacle because of his size when in reality they were just average plays normal sized players made.

All Kay can ever be at that fight is a sideshow at the nab level.

A waste of time to develop him when you can get more immediate and long term gains from a bigger player.

And you know this after half a season?

I'll trust the people in control of who is and isn't on the roster over someone named "tonyn" on a forum.

Your initial complaint was he is a waste of a roster spot because a big man could have his spot. We have an open roster spot. You're just complaining about a 2nd round rookie not many of us expect anything from this year, but are at least willing to see if he can progress.

Again, get over it.

The same staff that signed a washed up bird man
A emo Moe
A broken dunleavy
Lebrons bff Jones

This team has a history of wasting spots and I think Kay is one of them

We are in cap hell.

Mo went emo before this season, when we had no intent of playing him/wanting him on the team and he held the team hostage. That's their fault?

They traded for Dunleavy, they didn't sign him, and then they used him to get Korver. What a waste.

I'll say it again; we are in cap hell.

Welcome to life where all you can give guys is vet minimum contracts.

Again, get over it.

It's not just Kay
It's more I would like to see the team get more size all around and he is just an example.

We have

Kyrie Kay
Jr shump liggins McRae
Lbj korver rj
Love tt Frye
Birdman

I just think we need to take some of the players we have and trade even for small improvement to get bigger

I have a ton of experience as a 2k gm so I know what I'm talking about

Probably the worst single sentence I've seen written outside of the political threads on the website. My eyes can't unsee it.

I didn't want to put a smiley face in there cause the home would be lost

Still is like us to get longer wherever possible

It would be dumb for the Cavs to give up on Felder so early. This team needs to develop talent to create assets for the future. They could have given guys like Joe Harris and Danny Green more time to developed and would have had a player for the future or a tradable asset. They gave up on Joe Harris and Danny Green for Jordan McRae and Manny Harris, respectively.

I think we should try to trade him now for a bigger player of similar age and develop that person

If he is as bad as you seem to think he is, and is a "sideshow" as you say he is, how are we going to trade him for a big of similar age who isn't complete shit?

Backwards logic...

Are you Kay's agent? Are you Kay? Why are you defending him so hard?

It's simple you dangle him out there to a team with a surplus of bigs and no depth at the pg spot.

You hype hype him up and make the swap.

It doesn't even matter if the person is "worse" than Kay
You just need a big to develop

What player could that be? The other team would have to not see any potential in that players development to do the trade.

Who knows but where you start is to trade Kay for anyone who will take him for a player 6"5 6'6
Basically the biggest young guy you can get

Then you turn that guy into someone bigger so on

I'm someone trying to think logically.

And again...if we felt we could cheaply acquire/sign a decent young big we could develop, we would have done it with our open roster spot already.

Here's a crazy thought...maybe there aren't any worth it, and the ones that are worth it are worth way more than a player you yourself are calling a sideshow.

No...that's too simple...
