So long, Kay Felder

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Who knows but where you start is to trade Kay for anyone who will take him for a player 6"5 6'6
Basically the biggest young guy you can get

Then you turn that guy into someone bigger so on

The front office saw potential in him and trying to trade him now would scream something was wrong. Why would another team be willing to take that on? The Cavs have a open roster spot and can waive Birdman to open up another. As a GM how are you going to hype Felder up to another GM? He has limited minutes to show case his abilities and is playing with LBJ who has constantly made scrubs into above average players.

They can, but they won't. He would have been waived already if they had that intention.

And we can't get anything useful for Felder. Why anyone thinks we can is crazy. Only thing he could be useful for in a trade is salary filler, but he isn't fetching anything by himself.

Yea I don't think we can get anyone useful from Felder alone at the moment.

I don't think the Cavs will hold on to Birdman past the deadline, they are hoping they can trade away his salary so they don't have to eat the extra luxury taxes. I actually think this was one of the intentions of Lebron's rant, he doesn't want the Cavs to hold on to Birdman till the end of the regular season then waive him to get a player dahntay jones for the playoffs. He would rather get someone in after the deadline so that player can help out and possible work their way into playing time.

Ok, I was thinking you completely opposed the idea of moving him.

Yea I get it would be tough and he would equate to filler but if that's what it takes to upgrade the roster im for moving Kay

New CBA's trade rules. You must have missed them. 5'8 guy has to be traded for a 5'9 guy. 5'9 guy for a 5'10 guy. 5'10 guy for a 5'11 guy. So on and so on.

So we need to make 16 consecutive trades to get a 7 footer out of Felder now.

Not necessarily.

Did you forget about the Bol exception that when trading for one of the 3 tallest players in the nba you skip the extra trades?

I am sure we can Gobert for Kay and a late 1st.

Been trying to do too much since LeBron called him and Liggins out. Been sloppy with the ball, relatively, and trying to do too much. Bit jittery. Needs to slow down a bit, play within the flow.

Yea his game is trash...

Sooner or later Gilbert will see the light and reluctantly tell his children they might not get that extra cupholder in their Ferrraris this Christmas
