Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yup. Jedi master loses nothing.

With his bench, still a decent chance to make it close, if not win. Even a blowout now, well...on the road without our star, yada, yada. Nice move, though tough for fans. Think my tickets (upper level sadly) for the next Spurs-GS game at oracle go up? Or will Pop sit his starters once again on the road in March to keep an 'undefeated at Oracle' illusion?

Decent seats are going for $1500 a pop on the main level mid court.

I fucking love Pop.

I don't think that Pop rests his starters solely to avoid matchups. But I think, if there is something messing with a player, he is more likely than any other coach to bench said player; especially in a game players could view as big, even if it is just a regular season matchup.

Duncan is mentally fragile these days. Pop knows that the likely impending warriors blow out could mean the end of the big man's confidence, early retirement, etc. :chuckle:

That's all right. San Antonio has to play Golden State 2-4 more times this season. I just want to see Kawhi beat the $#!+ out of Steph and Klay tomorrow.

Yeah. I'm sure that's it:doh:

(sigh)

I sometimes miss living in the land of money trees and being wealthy.
Tell me about it. In the 'We Believe' year I got Dallas playoff corporate seats from my employer simply by asking and taking a client friend. Row 14, center court, 4 seats against a historically good Dallas team with prime Dirk. I was also able to wait in line to buy seats for the other 2 playoff games of that series, arriving about an hour early (with a Visa Signiture card for the preferred line), when they were released for sale at the ticket office. I got last row seats for like $40 (still awesome as Oracle was filled with die hard fans going nuts).

Now the bandwagon tech millionaire fans drive up the prices and don't chant 'waarrriors' loud enough to make opponents miss Fts. Sad times.

I feel sorry for you

I'm going to the game tonight

I'm going to the game tonight

Is this a statement a question or are you trying to tell your self you're going to this game? well, have fun I guess.

Not sure why GS hatred is considered a requirement to be a Cavs fan site poster. Seems silly of me that hatred of a rival vs respect is necessary. I enjoy sports and admire greatness. The players all shook hands and hugged each other after the Christmas game and play together on team USA. Why be a hater?

But Cav fans gonna Cav fan.

It's the off-court shit from guys like Curry and Green. They're gigantic douches, and deserve every ounce of hatred I've got. I could care less about the rest of their team.

That said, I barely tolerate LeBron, who I think is also a big douche.

Green is pretty rude off court. And that 'They here? NOPE. They Suck? YEP!!" was epic-level off-court douchiness, although to be fair, he was drunk out of his mind at his own parade and they should never have let anyone interview him like that, lol. I have no idea what I would say if thousands of people were celebrating ME and I was drunk out of my mind and a hot chick was giggling and asking me questions about why I was so awesome while staring at me with a star-struck look and was about to have an epic offseason to spend my $80 million dollars. It might go to my head.

But Curry? c'mon, man. He hangs out with the little kids and practices with them, and does all this stuff to help kids, and tries to be a wholesome role model example. Yeah, he has some swagger, and does little shimmies and chest thumps on the court after big shots, but that is on the court. What does he do off the court that qualifies as anger-inducing s**t to you? The overt confidence? I can certainly understand hate for him being so good (I hate some players with a passion that I would probably turn around and like if they were on my team) but for off-court douchiness?

My spell check cant handle "douchiness" as a word, lol.

Anyway, tonight's game is epic. No NBA game in history has ever had two teams with records this good play each other. Ever..

Regardless of what happens, it will be remembered and analyzed and scrutinized and critiqued. If the spurs win, the warriors home streak is broken, and Walton will be able to say "Dude, _I_ never lost at home, how come YOU do?"

Agree on Curry comment. He used to live like 10 min from my house. During the morning of a key game of the NBA finals, mind you, he went for a walk at about 6 am with his family at a public park around a water reservoir. A casual fan saw him and asked for a selfie, and he said sure, go ahead. The photo was posted on a local news station. Just some average joe.

The guy is class.

At games before he was peak Curry, he regularly hosted 'make a wish kids.' He spends time with each kid, one on one. He visits hospitals without press to cheer cancer kids. His wife sells olive oil for charity at local stores. He was raised to be a solid give-it-back guy. I have first hand experience.
