Standup comedy

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
He's coming this week and I think im gonna pass. Can only find 20 year old specials online and they're probably kinda dated but don't really do it for me

That's how I came across him. His podcast is great and great guest too. Where did you see him

I saw him about a year ago, Atell is pretty good. If you love comedy its a good show, but he isnt must see level in my opinion.

I first saw him on TigerBelly.

My pod rotation is Kill Tony, Are You Garbage?, Matt and Shane’s Secret Podcast, Tiger Belly, Bad Friends, William Montgomery Show, and depending on the guest, I Don’t Know About That and This Past Weekend.

Love theo love Bobby love Shane, got into Ian from cumtown (rip) which fell apart. Tafs sucks and I listen to stavros but he's become wildly unlikable. Bein Ian is great, would recommend

Cool that these comedians have podcasts now, for sure helps their careers and they're often funnier conversationally than they are at standup

Comedy is definitely subjective because Attell is one of the goats and absolute must sees for me.

The old cliche he’s your favorite comedians favorite comedian comes into play here, I think.

Him and Tim Dillon.

I get why they’re funny, I just don’t laugh.

I don’t even really like any of their stand up, but they’re all incredibly funny on podcasts.

My favorite is Bill Burr, i did love Atell's show on comedy central. Up all night i believe it was called. Chapelle has jumped the shark for me, used to love him too, but i hear Chapelle's latest is back to old Dave.

But yeah, comedy is very subjective. One of my best friends is obsessed with comedy, and since he is a book editor and written 4 books, he is deep into the history of comedy so we talk about it all the time, more than just jokes, but the GOATS, ect. For example he thinks Seinfeld and his observational humor was just as influential as Pryor and Carlin. And he has read several books backing this up.

But all subjective in the long run for sure.

Completely. Shane is good at standup but almost everyone else is a mix of mid to bad to ok in these groups. Theo has potential but he kept including obviously fake stories in one of his specials and was a bit off putting.

Stand up is hard as fuck. Funny people get into it but it's just a tough medium. Conversationally they're hilarious

Never heard of "Netflix is a joke" festival but it looks crazy.. over the course of ten days in May in la will be

Jeselnik, Shane gillis, Tomlinson, Seinfeld, Segura, kreischer, Chris rock Sarah Silverman katt williams Joe list, Bill Burr, Kevin hart, mulaney etc etc

3 of my favorites and other, very, very good comedians....I love Burr, but Jeselnik and Silverman are two other favorites. Mulaney is my kids favorite, that is quite the lineup for sure.

I love the obviously fake stories, because they’re part of the Theo Von persona. Haven’t seen the standup, but I they present really well on podcasts.

Feel like nobody knows about Shane Gillis’s internet content? Mix of Tim Robinson’s show and Key and Peele.

Bob Isis is a bit I hope he uses on SNL next week.
