Everyone out there with jobs that can see the ridiculousness going on with regulation for the environment clearly hates their kids and grandchildren...

Lot of people with degrees in the hard sciences that clearly don't understand and hate their kids and grandkids.

Or things are ridiculous and some people think they know and understand a lot more than they do.

Many people in this and the last thread gave long, clear and concise stories of how environmental regulations in a lot of instances are ridiculous and do nothing to help the environment. There are a lot of laws made by lawyers, not engineers and scientists who actually can understand if the law is ridiculous or not.

Proceed to continue with the over reactive fear mongering.

I really worry how much concensus is ignored in favour of anecdotal evidence. Environmental law should always be aimed at being over protective because it is the fate of the flicking world. Would you rather have a bit more red tape or a completely screwed planet? Talk about missing the point.

If you want to hand things over to scientists, I would be psyched. i don't think you really do want evidence based policy tho...

Can someone tell me how this relates to adding more jobs?

We're going to have to deny science so these large corporations can throw down a few jobs to the working class folk.

Is it just impossible to do both?

It's going to be a roller coaster ride for sure.

Nah.. the Rasmussen "poll" is an approval poll among "likely voters." Historically, approval polls are done among the general population or registered voters. One reason not to use a likely voter model for approval polls is that the resulting data is not comparative as the voter model is not translatable across periods of time or presidencies.

Gallup's model would be the one to look at since it's been the same for decades.

What percentage of the people being polled are democrat? #waronmath

You are winning in the war on math, science and common sense.

Now on to our scheduled programming of skinning the country and the people to the trumpets of cheering people waiting for America to be great again
