The 2014 Draft Lottery thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I really hope we have a chance at landing one of those top three picks. Parker can play SG, SF, and PF and will need no time to develop. If we can start bringing in good guys like him, Delly, etc. that play basketball and can build some chemistry well have a contender in the next 2-3 yrs.

We do. We have precisely a 6.1% chance of landing one of those top 3 picks.

FWIW, it's a higher chance than we had at winning #1 overall in 2011 (4.3%). Although we did have a 15.0% chance of landing a top 3 spot that year.

Parker can not play SG at all. It is a question if he can even guard 3s. I'm not saying I wouldn't take him, but this guy isn't going to be LeBron James. More like a poor man's Carmelo, which we still need as long as he doesn't hold the ball like Carmelo.

There is also double the chance that we move down to 10 (12.2%).

Obviously there is inherent stupidity in rooting "strategy" when it comes to a lottery, but my main focus will be that we don't move down a spot. Also, that way there is an 88% chance that i will be satisfied at the end of it.

Its all set Jusif Nurcic will be the pick.

I was too young to see Alan Houston on the Knicks.

Jabari has the Duncan-good-guy vibe for sure.
