I wouldnt. Drummond never knew how to play his role and was an absolute disaster on offense. He balked on defense too which made his long arms and good instincts useless. Drummond is great if you want flashy numbers and to win like 20 games a year. TT is more portable of a player and as we saw easily slotted into a championship team as the number 5 guy

So what’s the difference in what he did and what Drummond did? Drummond did the same thing and some people on this board called his rebounds “empty stats”. And gave the Cavs offense much punch. If Drummond had been on those LBJ teams we would have won at least three titles
TT accepted his role and didn't mentally check out of games.

I agree that Drummond is the much more talented player over their careers, both in terms of skills and in terms of physical ability.

Edit: I implore anyone who only remembers the negative TT moments to go back and watch the '15 and '16 Finals, ESPECIALLY game 6 in 2016. He matched Draymond's intensity regularly, and few players have been able to say that in their careers.

I'm pretty sure that version of TT doesn't exist any more and I don't think we could resurrect him even in limited minutes.

Mozgov was great in that first run, but pretty useless in 2016. He was much like Shumpert in that regard.

Luckily, Delly stepped up significantly that season and RJ/Channing came on board to fill out the second unit.

Because he never recovered from his knee injury, he was healthy in 2015 and was a beast. With a healthy Mozgov in 2016 maybe we don’t even need the 3-1 comeback

I agree!

I didn't say he does or we could. I agree with you.

TT works on a team that can afford to play 4 on 5 offensively due to the rest of its personnel. The Bulls are such a team. The Cavs are not.

I'm ready to bring back Exum. Yes, the injury risk is real, but the reality is that if he stays healthy he's good enough to deserve minutes and it's not clear that the other options would be.

Can we bring back Ira Newble while we are at it?

Fine, bring back Lester Hudson or Demetris Nichols

Actually it looks like Jeremy Pargo just came back state side.. We had him a decade ago, so maybe we should get him back in town... I dont remember the guy though haha

All joking aside, I honestly believe with Pangos cut, I believe we will at least try and bring one of the young guys cut. Id prefer an upgrade over Ed Davis personally

I am thinking my list to look at would be (if they become available/signable) would be C Moses Brown, PG DJ Augustine, SG Tomas Satoransky, SG Eric Bledsoe and SF Alfonzo McKinnie. I also wouldn't be against a C DeAndre Jordan or SP Gary Harris if they are okay with the 10th spot in the rotation in a sense.
