Who knew that before Obamacare all non-rich handicapped and sick people were left to die in the street.
Some of you are truly naive in your belief in partisan propaganda.

You're far more likely to die without insurance in this country. Before Obamacare there were far more people without insurance. Thousands of people DO die as a result of this system. Obamacare didn't fix it, but getting more people insured is a good thing (not the real solution IMO but still better).

Getting more people insured is a "good thing" if everything else remains constant. The problem for a lot of people is that the costs of using that insurance -- including deductibles/copays -- went up substantially as well. So yes, the number of people who "had insurance" went up. Unfortunately, the cost of actually using that insurance went up for many as well. So people had insurance, but sometimes couldn't afford to use it. There were a shitload of stories out there about that -- a small sample.

Trumps campaigns promises are like making a wish to a genie. you may get your wish but there is a cost you might not of been willing to pay had you known about it before you made the wish

This legislation was already in progress when Trump took office. Congress had passed a similar bill along with Obamas signature in 2014 however the supreme court ruled it unconstitutional.

No one's the slightest bit concerned about the White House banning video of their press briefings?

Bigfoot hasn't been mentioned in this thread either. Is no one the slightest bit concerned of his threat to humanity?

Jesus. What a jump to conclusions based solely on a lack of discussion. You are such a fucking fear mongerer.

Was he refused necessary healthcare and was that the reason he died?

My friend's cousin just died of brain cancer because the insurance company stopped paying. He was 14.

Repeat after me: This doesn't happen in America, no one you know is affected by this, nothing like this can possibly happen to you or your loved ones.

You know they want to re-instate lifetime limits even if you have good insurance through work right? Don't worry, be happy.

Well, you seem to be.

Video daily press briefings didn't even happen until the Clinton Administration.

I have zero problem with this. It's a product of 24/7 news channels needing to fill time, and is more about press ego than about imparting actual information.

It's perfectly fine. I welcome the erosion of accountability.

I am very certain that if Obama had done this that the GOP would have welcomed it with the supine praise they greet every unprecedented, deleterious move Trump makes.
