Thought he was a 4.6 guy...
I mean, he ran 4.52 at the combine.

From preseason and the first couple weeks. He looked slower. Guess his knee is just getting stronger. Great for usI mean, he ran 4.52 at the combine.

Agreed, 2nd long run was more impressive. The replay shows 4-5 broken tackles and none of the guys slowed him down. That was impressive. Maybe the game is slowing down a bit for him. Gonna be good once he learns how to block.......and he ain't on special teams lolMain takeaway from yesterday for me was all the broken tackles combined with the speed. On the first run he only broke like one tackle, but he just torched the Raiders secondary when he hit that second gear. The second run, though, he broke at least four tackles and just embarrassed the Raiders defense.

What most impressed me was Chubb's field vision on his second TD. Our O-line did a piss poor job of maintaining their blocks and he was able to feel the pressure and just cut it right, essentially creating his own hole.
One of his best attributes in college was his slipperiness - he's just deceptively elusive and it looks like that will carry over into the pros, albeit we only have a small sample size
Hopefully he's a quick learn on pass protection because he deserves more carries on his ability alone.
the hell do we only give him three touches when he breaks two of them for TDs.
First run we could argue was good blocking up front, but second TD, was on Chubb. Man he looked good..Why the hell do we only give him three touches when he breaks two of them for TDs.

Reminder that we got him for taking on 1 year of Brock Osweiler's contract. And a ton analysts thought we were stupid for doing so.

To boot, we have a minimum we have to spend anyways, so it isn't even costing Haslam any actual dollars, necessarily.I'll never understand why anyone would criticize a team with a mountain of cap space for taking on a bad short-term deal to get a pick. It's not like any of us gives a shit if Haslam burns ten to fifteen million dollars. It's not our money. Plus, again, it's not like we weren't able to pretty immediately get out of the deal a year later. It's not some anchor weighing us down for years.
