I love that video. I also love this partnership. "Neighbors by Birth. Teammates at Last."

The wing foot is a cool logo, and it makes sense from a basketball standpoint as the video showed.

$10 million/year in the Cavs pocket ought to help out with that tax bill.

Has anyone else noticed how hard it's been to buy Cavs merchandise with the 2003-17 primary logo the last few years? Can't say I'm a fan of this, but I'll wait to see if this is actually going to be the primary logo before overreacting.

Edit: Just read the article - apparently this will be our "Global icon" - the logo that contains both City name and nickname. Our "primary icon" - the main logo for marketers - is still safe for the meantime.

Yuck. I don’t like this design and hope it doesn’t become our primary. Reminds me too much of soccer.

Definitely seems like something designed for international markets.
