It's definitely a make good move and to show appreciation for all the years of service during shit times. And you're definitely right that it gives Joe a reason to at least come back for one more year so they have more time to find his replacement.
 
Great move by the FO. I believe he was seriously considering retirement.
 
I don't like it. I don't like it one bit.

Joe, you don't go out injured.

You don't go out at 0-16.

You come back this one year. We might get a wild-card, who knows? (Shut up, people)

Then you get that playoff game as a Brown that you've always longed for.
 
Man, this is really sad. Sad he ended his career on an injury. Sad he never made the playoffs and only spent one year on a respectable football team (his rookie year).

Would have been great to see him give it one last go with this team. Oh well.
