BTW, @Juice Is Loose was right about what he was hearing re: Thomas. Not so sure he will be right about signing Taylor changing what they want to do at 1 though...
 
He deserved so much better. Wish him nothing but the best in retirement.

Unless signing Tyrod means they are going Nelson at #1. I wouldn't cry if they did.
 
Of course best wishes. Kinda bush to wait until the last second, but it's a minuscule gripe. He deserved the time, but that doesn't mean it's helping the org (not that they've helped him).
 
I'm going to cling on to the hope that the team is in playoff contention in week 12 and Joe comes back.

I would bet Dorsey knew and Joe wanted to wait to announce. There should be zero hard feelings against Joe Thomas today.
