The Mandalorian

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Watched the first episode.

Very Dave Filoni. Not a heavy plot and lots of exposition, but great at making you care about the characters.

Also, Chopper better be in episode 2.

Wow, those first 2 episodes of Ashoka were very entertaining. Only one thing sucked and it concerned one of the characters and the actor that played him so since there is a potential for a spoiler:

Ray Stevenson just chews up the screen time by how awesome he played Baylan. It saddens me that we won’t get any more of him playing this character, but I’m thrilled that this role was his last one before he passed away as he nailed the character perfectly.

I really enjoyed both episodes.

The production values are amazing. They look like films.

I am glad Disney got the message and are going all-in on Filoni Wars.

Is this the greatest scene in TV history?

Are the Boba Fett and Obi Wan shows worth watching? I want to watch the 3rd season of the Mandalorian but I do not want to mess out on anything that's significant to the plot.

If I recall correctly, the Boba Fett series is 6 episodes and 3 of the episodes are heavily focused on Mando and those episodes are good. The Boba episodes are mediocre. You should watch that series before starting Mando Season 3.

I don't think there's any real overlap in Obi Wan vs. Mando. I found the Obi Wan show mostly mediocre too, but there was a decent amount of Darth Vader which helped saved the season in my opinion.

Tatooine politics...

Wow.

It was a slow start to the series but episode four was great.

I like Baylon's style, a type of Form IV and V, but middle-aged guy version. He doesn't try acrobatics, but he uses his size and strength behind every strike.

I knew Dathomirian Magick was involved. That Inquisitor looked like a Magick reanimated corpse a la the Witches of Dathomir.

What can one say about seeing Anakin again. The de-aging is a little wonky, but the whole World Between Worlds connection is great.

I noticed on the second watch:

Anakin may be wearing Darth Vader's lightsaber, rather than his own. Unless someone made a dumb mistake, this most likely indicates that he is a mirage created probably by The Son. The iconography of the Father, Son and Daughter were heavily used around the portals to the WBW.

My working theory is Ashoka is dead, and the word between worlds is the plane where force ghosts reside

Wow.

Amazing.

I need a dedicated live action Anakin show.
