The Official Game of Thrones [A Song of Ice and Fire] Thread (includes spoilers)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Agreed and disappointed i thought jamie would be turning by now, but he seems to have turned back towards cersi

If he were going to turn against her you would think we would have started to see some resistance by now. Even if he just questioned her motives or anything.

He seems locked into team Cersei which is definitely a disappointment.

I doubt it.

They probably just want it to be more shocking when he kills her.

The showrunners have always been about shock value.

Yea he will kill her. That was the point of the Olenna speech.

What she does to set him over the edge is up for debate.

I'm just not sure what that can be at this point...

She's already done the most horrible shit imaginable time and time again.

She hasnt really done anything to set Jaime off. Blowing up the sept clearly upset him, but it was full of their enemies. And I doubt he's shedding tears for Ellaria Sand. Is anybody?

The only thing that I can really see that would set Jamie off that badly would be.. killing/torturing.... Tyrion?

We've always known Jamie has seen Tyrion in a completely different light than the rest of the Lannisters.

Altho in season 5 jaime says he will kill tyrion for killing tywin.

Alright so that episode kicked ass. I seriously looked and was like "Cool 30 minutes left..." and it felt like it was over in 6. I don't know besides the Red Wedding if an episode had THAT much packed into it.

Seeing Jon and Dany face to face was insane. It was like if Kobe and LeBron had gotten to meet in the finals.

Cersei is currently making all the right moves but how long will that last? I also feel like Dany's backfire at Casterly Rock might force her to ally with Jon now which ultimately would prove a blow to Cersei.

Baelish is planning something, I know he has that shit eating grin in every episode, but it was extra shit eating grinny as Sansa was leaving to the gate. I think he's come to the realization he's never winning her over and now he plots to overthrow them as he has his own delusional quest to rule the 7 kingdoms.

I think Varys and his little birds tipped off Cersei. I feel like he's been Cersei's plant this entire time. I feel like it was alluded to when the Melisandre told him he'd die in this strange land as well and he seemed visibly shaken.

Bran...creeper much? I also found it interesting Arya was missing in this episode. I think she's going to eventually get to Cersei but with who's face? Jaime is the one everyone wants but isn't Ser Gregor's actual head still around in Qyburn's possession or did he ship it off?

That was before he had confirmation from Olenna that Tyrion was innocent, and therefore wrongly imprisoned and sentenced to death by his own father.

Also, unless ravens no longer exist, Danys/Tyrion should know that KL is essentially unguarded because the Lannister army is in Highgarden.

Wow, that fact totally escaped me during her confession last night. Is that how Jaime e's disgust was supposed to be interpreted? That he now knows tyrion was totally innocent? Make sense although it seemed like he really believed it in the first place. but I guess he got confirmation finally.

As I remember, he wouldn't answer when Tyrion asked Jaime if he believed he was innocent. I actually think that was the primary purpose of having Olenna confess to Jaime.

I must have been super tired last night, catching a bunch of things on my rewatch. Like the Lannisters taking all the Tyrell gold. Explains the biggest reason they decided to move the bulk of their forces to Highgarden, and obviously connects the pieces with Cersei/Iron Bank scene earlier on.

I'd imagine something is going to happen to that gold on the way to King's Landing.
