Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Was that Rheagal or Viserion?

Why throw the spear at the dragon in the air instead of the dragon on the ground, with all the humans on it? That made no sense to me.

Not saying this is the logic... but they could have had had the opportunity to burn the dragon or something to ensure it isn't turned. Perhaps some of the human warriors would have tried to do it.

Having the dragon fall in the pond made that impossible and/or unnecessary in the humans minds and allows for the quick escape.

Closes some potential pot holes.

Ive got a long, convoluted explanation, but the more likely answer is: its the evil super villain doing evil super villain things.

Tell the hero the entire master plan. Instead of shooting him in the head come up with some elaborate way to execute him that he can escape from. That old cliche.

Ill be honest, the episode grew on me over the week. Yea, the teleportation was bad. Real fucking bad. But once I get beyond that, Hound was hilarious, Tormund was hilarious, and Berric was cool as shit. Best rewrite the show made over the books was keeping Berric and saying to hell with Lady Stoneheart.

Also, the fact that he didn't grab his own spears was just badass. Does Tom Brady hike the ball to himself? No. And my man will not be grabbing the spears.

And I'm ashamed to admit that I'm a fully grown 29 year old male and I'm highly invested in this fucking aunt/nephew incest relationship. I'm all in.

Now, I just have to treat Wintrrfell like its Dorne/Mereen and pretend it isn't happening.

This is basically my answer that I devised.

The other thing, if he's going for the hail Mary kill on all 3, the first had to be on one in the air. If he kills the one on the ground, the other two easily escape. But kill one in the air first, and you've got a decent chance to get the one on the ground before it gets away.

I also think the dragon in that air was a bigger threat to the WW's at the time the Night King threw it.

Alright...those are solid explanations.

Yeah. While this season has had its disappointments and predictability, it has still been highly entertaining. The filming and acting has been as awesome as usual, if not moreso.

Seeing Dany crush on Jon like that was pretty damn cute :chuckle:

And this Sansa/Arya storyline is garbage. Like man, the show finally made Arya a cool character but still has failed to give her one single good storyline. I don't think I've enjoyed any Arya-related story in the entire series thus far.

He also didn't really have a clear shot of the dragon on the ground, as its wings were mostly blocking the torso.
