The Official Game of Thrones [A Song of Ice and Fire] Thread (includes spoilers)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Is that second Cersei clip of her after hearing of Jaime's death? That effs with prophecy, so I think it's more likely that the news has hit about the fall of Winterfell and she thinks/assumes Jaime died. He shows up later to off her, probably sacrificing himself in the process.

I could still maybe see Jaime dying at Winterfell, maybe protecting/buying time for Bran, but that also seems a bit too obvious. Having his story end where it began (in the realms of the show at least, the first major thing Jaime did was push Bran), I mean.

Not sure. I feel like Jaime is going to see Cersei again.

She's drinking again, so my guess is miscarriage. We all know she ain't having that baby.

I also think there's a good chance Euron betrays her and takes King's Landing for himself with the Golden Company.

Also, I can't imagine Jaime will die without seeing Cercei again. I think he has to complete his arc by seeing her again and finally realizing how awful she is.

So a question that's probably already been answered:

Can only Targaryens ride dragons? I ask because the Night King rode Viserion at the end of the season 7 to take down the wall. Does that mean he's a Targaryen?

That's the idea... which is why Jon, er, Aegon is set up to ride one almost certainly. Theories are out there that Tyrion is a secret Targaryen which would explain why he could "tame" them a couple of seasons ago in the dungeons of Meereen.

I do think all rules and bets are called off when it comes to the undead. Seems like the Night King has his own thing going once something dies and he reanimates them. No indication that he would have Targaryen blood. He was shown to be of the First Men, the original folks of Westeros. The Targaryens came over from Valyria.

I'm pretty confident the Tyrion as a Secret Targaryen storyline won't show up in the show. It may still in the books, but the ground work hasn't really been laid in the show and it would feel cheap if it just showed up.

You think they have a concept that drinking is bad for the baby?

I'm really craving the back story of the white walkers, first men and the children of the forest.

As for Jamie, it's predictable that he would kill Cercei. They've portrayed him as a mercenary in a way but one with a conscious. I can see a story line where in order to save Westeros from the Night King, he has to protect Jon and/or Daenerys from a Cercei plot that ends up killing him and her. I can see a 180 where he goes against his conscious and does some despicable thing in the name of Cercei that hurts Westeros.

I mean they must, cause that's how Tyrion figured out she was pregnant. She was touching her stomach and not drinking the wine he poured for her. Which...Cersei never turns down wine.

So someone made a lighter version and you can see at least one figure chasing Arya. It looks like a group of them, most likely wights. So one wonders how TF she managed to find herself alone in what I'm presuming is Winterfell castle (not the crypts, because you can see windows).

I'm craving it too man I just don't think we're gonna get it here. ESPECIALLY with the prequel being about the First Long Night. I cry.

Prequel might not happen now. HBO has a new guy in charge and he was non-committal about the Long Night show happening.

Well either way, when they were pitching it one of the sales pitches was something like "find out the REAL story behind the first long night."

Well, if I gotta find out the real story THERE, I'm probably not getting it here.

And I don't blame them. I blame the fat man.
