I think it's been made clear that Orlando doesn't miss Turk. All their numbers are better across the board this season compared to last season. Meanwhile, Turk was complete ass with the Raptors and one of the main reasons they choked down the stretch.

Some people will just never admit they were wrong about Hedo.

Vince fking blew donkey balls against the Cavs in the 06-07 EC semifinals. He shot 20 shots a game with a delicious 35 percent field goal percentage. He basically played so bad that he was losing game for the Nets as much as the Cavs were winning them.

So we could rely on Hedo to step up EVERY game last yr, but of course since we've downgraded to Vince, we just dont have anyone capable of stepping up anymore?? LOL. I hope Vince reads that and takes it personally. A blatant diss. Obviously the situation with Orlando is, you never know what you're gonna get...

One day it's Vince, one day it's Lewis, Meer, JJ, or Pietrus... You just never know who's gonna be on fire. Dont forget about Dwight, cuz he's usually due for a good performance 85-90% of the time.. His opinion that Vince is not a reliable closer is not a very convincing argument, as Hedo was worse... Vince @ his best is just a far more stable player than Hedo @ his best, which is what it comes down to. It's a no brainer.

Cavs may win, but it's because they're just a heckuva team that added 2 former all-stars... Hedo-Lewis >>>, is just a weak argument that shouldve been tossed along time ago if anyone considers themselves a credible journalist. Hedo's proven to the world how unstable he is, which is Magic fans tried pointing out months ago, evidently on def ears... VC is more stable both on & off the court.

And in 05-06 he averaged 30points a game, 7 rebounds, 1.8 steals, and 5.6 assists on 46.3% shooting... what happened earlier in the years is completely irrelevant and what he does THIS post-season is what will matter. It's extremely moronic to believe he's just gonna completely blow the series before he actually does it.

With that same train of thought you might as well bet all your money on Kobe and the Lakers...

oh, and it's hilarious how no one remembers how awful Hedo was for most of the playoffs. The dude almost cost us the Phillies series.... never mind he went 2-8, 3-10, and 2-12 in the first 3 games. He was the savior!!!! eventually

What VC will do in the clutch this year? Who knows? Nobody. I think he'll shoot less than 40% overall, with more than 75% of his shots from the outside, with less than 25% of those assisted. Know why? Cus those are his averages against every team in the league this year. I understand that Magic fans think he'll perform better in the ECF. They have to. I don't. I think he'll do worse. I think LeBron will shut him down. DOWN! Know why? Cus he can. He won't have to guard anyone else like last year.

Ok Orlando fans, all your eggs seem to be in the Vince Carter basket. Good lu.....err FU.

Don't you understand, jvpertz? The fact that Wince has become progressively worse throughout the years has nothing to do with this post season. The fact that he hasn't been successful against the Cavs in years has nothing to do with the next month and a half. Stop listening to published journalists and start listening to Orlando fans who troll opponents' websites... obviously that is the path to total conciousness..

35.7%, 20% from 3

25% assisted

80% jump shots, 20% inside

I'd say so far the Magic are better off.

ButterM, you can try as hard as you like, but the Cavs have dominated Vince Carter for so many years, even before we were an elite team, that nothing anyone can say will scare us about him.

The Cavs are Vince's kryptonite.

I only care what competing players do in relation to the Cavs. Whether Vince Carter is Michael Jordan against every other team in the league means preciously little when all that matters to me is what he does against the Cavs.

The fact is that Vince doesnt play well in Cleveland at all!! And Hedo, dont tell me how bad he sucks now because I know, was absolutely murderous against the Cavs in Cleveland. He spear headed all of those fantastic late 1st-2nd quarter runs where the Magic would either regain the lead or bring it back to a tie.

It doesnt matter to Cavs fans if Hedo Turkgulu isnt good anymore. For all I know, Vince Carter is 1000 times better than Hedo at this moment. I dont really care because all I know is that brutally effective 6'10" wing player with point guard skill who really hurt the Cavs last year is now gone. Whether Hedo now sucks as player means very little to me. Im just glad that we dont have to face last year's Turk in these playoffs.

Go check the box scores of last years games in Cleveland. He was it. He was the prime catalyst and almost the soul reason why Orlando won game 1 in Cleveland. Those 14 assists were no joke.

Wake me when Vince goes for 14 assists in Cleveland.

Again, we dont care about the fact that you replaced Turk with Vince. As far as I know the Magic are a much better team with Vince Carter. However, against the Cleveland Cavaliers, it is a big deal that we dont have to face the 08-09 Hedo Turkgulu and we get to face the 09-10 Vince Carter.

That is all we care about. The Hedo Turkgulu that took the floor against us last year is gone. We dont have to play him. Whether he is a piece of crap player now means very little and whether the Magic are better against the other 29 teams in the league with Vince also means nothing to us.

It does matter because all I hear are Cavs fans bringing up the past to reinforce their thoughts today. People talk about how the Magic messed up on the trade, even if Hedo has gone from decent to awful over a year and that Carter has made the team much better (along with Jameer)... yet people go back to "HEDO LAST YEAR GAVE US MATCHUP PROBLEMS". yeah, well even this year he wouldn't give matchup problems, so why bother even bringing him up? Especially since Carter has already proved to be a much better choice over.

Yes, talk about how the Cavs are matched up with Orlando almost toe to toe, but don't say it's because we replaced Carter with Hedo, because that's dead...

If you're gonna talk about how scared you were of 08-09 Hedo, then I guess I should talk about how glad the Magic aren't facing Shaq in his prime! Phew, too bad you guys have 38 years old Shaq! If 2000 Shaq was on your team, it'd be over in 4 games!! Wow, what an incredibly AWESOME thing to argue about!

I don't see how what Hedo has done THIS year matters. He is not on the Magic. What people are trying to say is that last year's Hedo was what killed us. We simply don't believe that wince can recreate the problems that Hedo made for us. He isn't the same type of player. Sure you guys have played at a higher level during the regular season this year, but not necessarily against the Cavs. You trampled the rest of the league, but the key advantages that you had against us are gone, and that will show over a 7 game series.

This Hedo V.S. Vince debate is getting old.

Wow Dwight Hoeward was just on Jim Rome is Burning and he basically said beating the Cavs comes down to just stopping Lebron from getting into the paint. He basically ignored Shaq, Tawn and everyone else on the team.
