The Walking Dead

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I get all that, but again, just thought it was clunky. Still relatively effective as the acting was really good. But when I said there were so many ways "they" could have done it I meant the show's writers.

I still enjoyed it. I guess as you said Morgan served Richard the justice he deserved but also knew Richard's intentions were right, and used his death to gain the Saviors' trust again, as Richard originally intended anyway.

Impressive what good actors can do with a so-so script. I was watching Talking Dead, and the guy who played Richard was pretty funny. He was saying that Lennie James is so good that he didn't want Lennie to steal his big backstory soliloquy scene even though Lennie didn't have any lines. Dude can definitely act without even saying a word.

He looked so pissed in that scene, I was just waiting for him to slaughter Richard right then and there. Impressive that he held back for an hour or so. :)

k so who the fuck was that at the end? Was I supposed to know?

Yeah. 16 episodes is just way too much for this show. Or any show really.

Yeah trimming it to 10(most HBO shows) or 13(Most Netflix shows) would do wonders for the pacing.

16 episodes means $$$$$$$ they would probably consider themselves poor if the series was 10 episodes.

We're just dumbasses that choose to watch it.

These two person episodes are heavily dependent on the quality of the actors, and in this case, they just couldn't pull it off. Plus, the entire assassination subplot makes zero sense. Succeed or fail, the result it likely to be the Saviors taking revenge before Rick's people are ready to fight. And nobody has bothered bringing that up.

Odd of Eugene being a traitor have gone up significantly. Not leaving could be consistent with ulterior motives, but calling the other guards is tougher to explain away.

Build up to Finale....it better have a solid ending. I'm thinking Rick gets a "win" but loses some ancillary characters. Negan gets away after suffering big losses to regroup for next season.

That is my thought too. Which would be nice. I'd like to see Rick hit back and kick some ass leading into next season.
