His body needs work. That’s one thing the Heat pride themselves on is player fitness. Zizic has some real potential but he needs to change his body. Being lighter would help him w speed on D. Leaning out would also increase stamina, running w less weight is easier.

Zizic has such great touch around the basket. Amazing for such a big man to have good post moves and has a that soft touch. In fact he has been showing good vision and finding open man when he is in trouble or someone cuts to the basket. Just build that stamina big Z!

Best part about this guy is that his biggest concern right now is fitness. Can he play bigger minutes and can he get stronger? Definitely.

This kid has legit NBA skills, decent rebounding ability, great passing instincts, good verticality on defense (might struggle being switched onto guards but most bigs do).

If i had to pick one problem for a prospect to have at his age it would be that he can't run out games, thats the easiest thing to fix.

Z has such a soft touch around the basket. Even last year when he played substantial minutes he had a very high FG%.

Also he clearly has high BBall IQ, and sees the other players' movements. A smart PG next to him will do wonders.

He's definitely NBA ready, and probably could've been a legit bench player last season as well.

Problem with trading away TT is he needs assets attached for a team to take him on. And I don’t see CLE doing that right now...in fact, I don’t know what we have of value that we could even realistically give up. We aren’t attaching Cedi, Sexton, ir Zizic. We aren’t attaching any future picks.

I agree with you on Zizic getting the bulk of the minutes over TT. I just think people need to be realistic about our options with that anchor of a deal. He’s making $18M this year and $18.5 next year, all fully guaranteed.

Zizic has very good offensive skills 10 feet from the basket, but he is slow. I dont think that will work for him against real nba players..

I do like him with nance or love though as you cant let him get to the paint with the ball or he is automatic..

I also liked some of Sexton misses in the highlight real. He attacks the basket against three or four guys and Zizic gets the clean up.

Could he be better than Marc Gasol? Gasol has never averaged 10 rebs and it took him 7 seasons to score 16+ pts per game.
