Theoretically Ante Zizic

Zizic had another nice night in the G-League. Doesn't mean a lot, but 30 minutes, 26 points on 12-17 shooting, 13 rebounds (5 offensive), and 1 block. Negative +/-, though that had more to do with him being in late when the game was well in hand. They were up by 23 at the end of the 3rd. Zizic scored the first 8 points for the Charge.

Turnovers are a problem he needs to fix. Did some nice things and he has grown since I last watched him in the G-League a while ago.

Can't wait for tomorrow. Watched the Canton game tonight to get some kind of a basketball fix. It's been rough waiting for over a week.

Thompson was horrendous last night. Unplayable. But Lue won’t make a move.

Ante Zizic is in bad physical shape. I watch his Canton games and he just looks fatigued all the time.

Yesterday, he was contantly putting his hands on his hips trying to catch breath.

He doesn't run the floor and rolls as hard to the basket like he used to in Europe.

He looks much less leaner than he used to. Very pudgy compared to then.

He looked slow in summer league and he hasn't regained his stamina and athleticism since then...for reasons that we can only speculate(or not).

I think a lot of his problems are about conditioning... and he should be more conditioned in the NBA. He was proejcted as a high level energy big.

I really don't see another solution to Tristan turning his ankle. Hopefully he contributesaid in his minutes this week. Would be huge to find any production from a true center on a squad with 3 PFs currently set to split minutes there for the remainder of the season.

I could see him running Larry into the ground or going small ball instead. Once Jeff Green is back I wouldn't be surprised to see Lue go to him at the backup 5.

If Lue wasn't under so much pressure right now I think he would give Z a chance, but as you saw in the last game with him playing Lebron the entire 2nd half, Lue is coaching for his job survival right now.

Get ‘em. As much as I like Cedi getting his minutes (at the moment) I am disappointed we didn’t get anything out of AZ.

Coaching for his survival? the guy is practically a zombie at this point.
