Theoretically Ante Zizic

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This guy provides everything I wanted from a buyout candidate...length and toughness inside that can be used situationally. Only he also has the added benefit of being extremely young, with a ton of upside.

Fuck TT. Nance and Zizic should get all of the center minutes moving forward. TT can fold their towels after games.

After this game I think in keeping with the current trend of rap names we should call Zizic Lil Z

He's not fast nor does he look really athletic... but he is tall and tries to be physical/chippy, something the Cavs is lacking now... would be nice for him to have a couple of situational minutes per game when the Cavs are getting mangled inside

He is fast. He was one of the best Big man in transition during his time in Europe.

One of the best rim runners and was a good PnR defender... had good technique sliding his feet, dropping and contesting using verticality.

When in shape he should be plenty to deal with in transition and on the boards.

You saw the glaring decline in his speed in the second half. In the first half he was running the floor like a Gazelle and in the second he was one of the slowest in transition. It's all about conditioning with him, trust me.

I'm still concerned though because it shouldn't be the case so late in the season(I don't want to repeat it, but no playing time and no intense practices would do that for you too).

After this game, no coach worth his salt would play TT another fucking minute. Sadly, I have zero confidence in such a thing actually happening.

Come on, you can do better with that. I’ll start us off with another to hopefully get this conversation rolling...

Well, hopefully TT is out for a while, which should improve his conditioning from simply playing more real games. But also, once Love gets back, he should play less...which hopefully means that conditioning should be less of an issue for him.

All of that said, I doubt he plays much when we shorten our rotations in playoffs. Unless, of course, he really shows something over the next couple games.

You already know this Dom but nothing can prepare you for game speed. That level of pressure mentally wears you out so quickly physically. The kid just needs reps so he can adjust.

To use a Dragonball Z analogy he basically has to go super Saiyan 3 mentally just to stay on the court in the NBA while he's been playing at super Saiyan his whole life and even he didn't realize how quickly that's burning his energy.

CLUEless in the post game interview just won't come out and say any changes at center coming. They kept pressing him on Nance vs TT and he just can not imply that TT is useless as he is clueless.

Wow. His kids must feel some kind of special.

Does he have any kids?

There's no need to say anything.
It does zero good to take shots at your own player, especially when he's already injured.

Don't smoke, don't drink, don't f*ck

He literally might be Ian McKaye moonlighting as a basketball coach.

He probably doesn't want more than one kid. No reason to replace him...ever.

Probably throws tons of superlatives and compliments at him eventhough he doesn't deserve them.

Great dad imo...just bad coach.

He does like to run in transition... the thing with euro bigs they can be effective still even if they are not fast (e.g. Jokic)... the thing I like with him this game is he tried to be physical, something the Cavs really need in the middle... He is still young, hopefully he continue to develop, saw an article before where Blatt said he is a hardworker and have relentless motor those alone would be worth a spot on a team for a 7-foot guy...

There are two videos...one on Zizic(hard work) and the other is on Delly(commitment).

Blatt is a smart guy clearly. You can clearly see it just by hearing him speak compared to Lue. He would have appreciated Cedi and Zizic, for sure.

He fucked up his nose though. He clearly broke it badly..should fix that shit.
