Senior year of high school I placed 3rd in the state (Virginia) in a year long math contest. I should have finished second but made a silly mistake on one problem. Because of me our school was first in the region in the same contest.

I graduated college when I was 19 with a double major in Computer Science and Math.

I followed that with a masters degree in computer science. That one took longer because I did it while working full time at NASA.

I raised 6 kids and put 5 of them through college (the other one didn't want to go). Actually I put 4 through college, my youngest just finished her second year on an academic full ride at Florida State.

I started a small business and persevered through many crisis to keep it going and build it up. Our company now employees about 20 people and now run it with 3 of my kids.

But we wouldn't know about it if it wasn't for a certain person who started this community of misfits. Ultimate trump card activated.

As much as we rag on @KI4MVP for his love of Elon. Those are some great accomplishments.
 
Awesome stuff for sure. Would love to see the same from my kids.
 
Passed the Ohio BAR exam in the 91st percentile in June of 2014 after graduating magna cum laude and in the top 10% of my class from Capital Law School.

Thing I'm most proud of though was it was all, comparatively, with extremely minimal amounts of studying and effort.

Never really used the subsequent law license though. Mostly because I didn't have the requisite work ethic.
 
Where is the thread about Chris getting shot? I remember reading about it, but just looked and couldn’t find.
