Tracy McGrady

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If you honestly think McGrady will have any effect on the Rockets getting spanked in the first (MAYBE second) round...then oh well. I'd also like to know where he said he'd go to LA.

But hey, Houston took the Lakers to 7 games last season, they can do it again this year (lolnot)!

Man some of you Cleveland fans are something else.

Houston is not a legit contender with/without McGrady.
Houston only pays for ~20% of his contract because of insurance (may have changed because he's back, which points to spite even more).
Houston does not want McGrady.
McGrady wants to play. Houston will not play him.

I guess it can be summed up like this:

Houston is not doing anything in the post season, they do not WANT McGrady YET they are keeping him when he will not benefit the team AT ALL.

Yep, still pointing towards Houston being douches out of spite.

Im too lazy to post the link, but the Bulls want T Mac.

They have been chasing him for years. It could actually make since for both sides though. The Bulls could use Brad Millers big expiring contract to help match salaries and Brad could be the center in place of Yao for this year for the Rockets. Than the Bulls would have to throw in a couple more pieces.

That trade actually could make since for both teams. T Mac might help the Bulls quite a bit with the scoring load that they lost in Ben Gordon.

Makes sense I guess. Miller's expiring and the young talent they have could get it done. But I don't see the great benefit of him on their team... They aren't doing big things this year, barring a big turnaround... Would he be in their future plans?

Getting TMAC would allow them to offer a max contract to someone next year if they just let him expire, and they're obviously going to go after Wade as he's from Chicago.

TMac is done as we knew him. That guy will never average over 15ppg for the rest of his career. His best hope is that he can find a team that will make him a 6th man and get about 28-30mpg.

No interest in him whatsoever for the Cavs, or really for anyone. Never really liked his game all that much.

You know who reminds me of TMAC ?

Kevin Durant. (just taller)

All that... plus he his eyes seem to be spaced a little too far apart... creeps me out. Not a fan of this guy at all.

"Word was that the calls were to make offers the Rockets would never consider," the Houston Chronicle reports, "despite the chance to put together an impressive collection of really bad contracts."

But the Rockets may have less pressure than before to make a move to set McGrady free, now that he no longer has regular access to the media to voice his complaints.

T-Mac and future pick or two for Miller and Deng.

Chicago would only do this if only they are chasing for Wade 100%. Deng would play less minutes if Wade is on the team. Rose and Wade would hold 85% of the ball and Kirk the rest. Deng would stretch Houston's floor. Maybe he is the man we need. Hahaha but I dont like him. Miller would play the much needed Center position.

If they get Wade, their line up would be Rose Wade Salmons Thomas Noah with Kirk as 6th.

Rose/Wade is such a stupid backcourt combo it's not even funny.

I think it could work if they had shooters at the 3 4 and 5... something like Z, Murphy, and Parker, to list a random group that I think would work with them. Thomas and Noah don't exactly fit the bill.

LOL TMac or not, LAL in 4. Why would you even worry about that? :chuckles:

Nah, Lakers in six. Houston plays good defense and would at the very least win their first two home games.
