What do you think it will take to get Dedmon? His player option for next year and a lack of bird rights definitely reduces his value to us.

Crowder is already pointless on this team.

We just need to fool some team into thinking he is what people thought he was in Boston. Honestly we could replace him with liggins on a vet min deal and there would be very little drop off.

We need a couple of trades to fix this and Kemba should be one of them. He is an all star that is signed thru next year also. Don't touch the Batum contract, but I would give them the pick if they included MKG & Lamb. We would have the 3 under contract past this year. Then trade for a center/pf - ex Green/Dedmon. All of these players are younger and it would not kill us if LBJ left. Would love the defensive possibilities with these players. Also dump all of our garbage. Why Charlotte does it - total rebuild with 2 lottery pick would make that process quicker especially with this draft class.

Yes! This is exactly the kind of stuff we need to trick the other teams into thinking. We need to do this before they watch film on him and realize he can’t keep anyone on front of him or make an entry pass.

Well if you followed this forum during the playoffs you would have thought he forgot how to play. Because most people here were saying Crowder was on of the worst starters in the playoffs.

Yea thats the thing. Kemba gives us more defensively, but we might really need IT for when can't get points. You know the same reason we needed Kyrie's scoring.

I keep harping on this, but I wish when all of this was going down we could have got Paul in a 3 team deal. IT is much better than what the Clippers got back.

If the front office had had the slightest bit of foresight or discipline and acted earlier we could almost certainly have gotten Paul.

Charlotte gets Cavs 1st round pick and and Miami 1st round pick.

Why for Miami: They have the third lowest scoring offense in the league and just lost waiters. Dragic is big and a good defender, so he fits fairly naturally alongside IT, who can bring a spark to the offense. They are going to the playoffs this year the pick will probably be low anyway. Johnson isn't a great contract.

Why for Charlotte: They get 2 first round picks for Walker, and get rid of a terrible contract in Batum. They get back somewhat less terrible contracts.

Why for Cleveland: Walker is an enhancement as a defender. Batum is a bad deal, but is still more efficient this year than either Smith or Shumpert. Walker/Batum have played together for years, so the transition will be easier and our defense will be vastly upgraded. We save the Brooklyn 1st and Osman by taking on bad contracts.

Not at all a bad fit - he's fallen off the map this year defensively (but it's probably just because he's playing on a terrible team alongside rookies).

Not sure what the right deal would be though. He's not a good contract and he's old, so I don't want to give up much. JR Smith + Frye + 1st?
