I'm going to predict that we don't make a big move for Kawhi. Regardless of whether or not it is the "right" move, I think that Dan and Koby are going to be too risk averse to trade a ton of assets for a guy who may only be here for one season.
It might have been different in prior years, but after Kyrie forced his way out, and is now even hinting that he might not re-sign with Boston, I just see them both -- Dan especially -- being very gun-shy about the possibility of getting mega-screwed long term by a player who decides to be one and done.

I agree. I like Dedmon and would also be interested in Bazemore who they state is a good leader in the locker room not to mention he is a good defender. ATL looking to take on some contracts (with comp)...boy do we have some.

Do the Hawks see Bazemore as a player with value or do they think he is on a bad contract? 12 points a game is definitely under performing for a 19 million dollar contract.

I'd rather have Marvin Williams instead of Mozgov. I'd be real happy if they took Clarkson in the deal.
If it makes sense a little of both. They love his overall leadership and are not "actively" shopping him but they have made him available. I think he contract is a bit steep for his overall scoring production, but Atlanta is such a poor team and I love his defense.
There are a couple players I wouldn`t trade away if they fell to us - Bamba is one. But If I were the front office and Carter or Porter fell to us (or Trae Young - though I don`t think they would want him), and if I found that the Clippers coveted either I think I would be willing to trade 8 for Shai Gilgeous and Kevin Knox (or a combination that includes one of Miles Bridges, Mikal Bridges or maybe Zhaire Smith in place of Knox instead) for those two. They would pick the players I wanted and then we would trade. I think all of those may develop into at least a good starter and perhaps a star. And I have no greater confidence that Carter, Porter or Trae Young (though he may surprise me) will. Doubt heavily it would happen - but if I was fairly intent on keeping my pick that would be an option I would heavily consider. Always swinging for the fences - but in this draft two strikes may be worth it...

will say this, if SGA is there at 8(and I do not think he will be) I would grab him and keep him. 6'7 PG that can get to the rim, great passing and would be a defensive matchup problem for other teams I am all for
