Why should the Cavs blow their cap on Gordon? I love his game but that a terrible idea.

Does Moe harkless get consistent minutes on Orlando? How's his shooting? I believe that was one of the biggest concern for him coming out of college. during the 2012 draft, some of the guys here want to get him using our middle round pick.

I think that's an interesting name especially if the Cavs don't draft a SF. He gets 22-23 minutes per game and is actually shooting 38% from 3 (less than 2 per game). Can't say I really watch much of Orlando, but he seems to be showing signs of turning into a 3 and D type of guy, a low volume shooter who provides you with energy and athleticism. If Tobias Harris can stay healthy, maybe Orlando just commits to him as their SF of the future. Still can't imagine they would just give away Harkless though. He's still only 20 years old.

Moe Harkless would be fantastic for this team. He's the best SF of the 2012 draft, in my opinion. Don't know how Kidd-Gilchrist went second overall and Harkless fell out of the lottery. That's what being on big time college programs will do for you, I guess.

If the Cavs don't re-sign Deng (and as of today it seems likely they will not), and of course if LeBron doesn't return, the Cavs will have to sign a SF this off-season or trade for one. They will also have the opportunity to draft one, but unless they are able to draft Wiggins or Parker, whoever they draft won't be starting for them. Regardless of whether David Griffin or someone else is the GM, they will have to deal with the SF situation.

Here are some potential SF trade targets this off-season.

Martell Webster -- If Wizards invest big money in re-signing Ariza (and Ernie Grunfeld has a long history of overpaying his own free agents, assuming Grunfeld is brought back), they may wish to move Webster -- maybe Jarrett Jack would be attractive to them?

Chase Budinger -- Has been hurt much of the last couple of years, and when he has played hasn't been very good for Minny. A Jack-Budinger trade works, and at least Budinger's contract is one year shorter.

Jared Dudley -- Not really sure why, but he hasn't worked out too well for the Clippers.

Matt Barnes -- Cavs tried to sign him back in 2010. Possibly somewhat redundant with Clips.

Reggie Bullock -- Another Clipper wing, which tells me they are going to try to trade at least one of these guys. Cavs rumored to be interested in him this trade deadline.

Quincy Pondexter -- Re-signed to a cap friendly 4 year contract in 2013, but then promptly got hurt with a stress fracture. Maybe Memphis decides to move in a different direction. May be closer to a SG than a SF though.

Carlos Delfino -- Has been hurt all year for Milwaukee. (Great signing by them, by the way.) Just making sure no stone is left unturned!

Moe Harkless -- Under contract for one more year with Orlando, and I just can't believe Magic will give him away. Maybe you could get him as part of a larger trade, but hard to imagine what that might be. This is an under the radar guy worth keeping an eye on for summer 2015, given how young he still is (20).

Jeremy Evans -- Intriguing talent who has never really played much for Utah. Can't shoot, but advanced stats have always liked him.

I know a lot of people on this board don't like him, and neither do advanced statistics, but I'm really high on Rudy Gay on this team. He's just what we need at the 3 spot. A versatile defender who can hit open 3s and even create for himself when we have nothing else going offensively. I don't know what he'll do in the off-season, although I'm pretty sure he'll opt in for the last year of his contract, but I want him on the Cavs badly. Furthermore, this team desperately needs players that play above the rim. We're not unathletic as it stands but we're also not overly athletic. I think Rudy is exactly what we need.

Kyrie/Dion/Rudy/AB/??? would be a great core to build around. No one in that lineup has peaked so they could really grow together and become a force.

Once again, I'm not sure exactly how we'll go about acquiring him. Maybe try and trade for him in the off-season (might be hard considering the Kings have grown to really like him) but I want to do something.

Jack for Webster makes too much sense and therefore won't happen.
