Uggh: rather not try to integrate TT back into the lineup especially when the current rotation of bigs is working so well.
Really would have preferred to focus on getting IT integrated

Need to seriously try to trade TT for O'Quinn.

This hook shot is uglier than Khloe's nose.

2nd unit is
Wade
Korver
Green
Frye
With either Cedi, JR, Lebron mostly.

I suppose I don't mind TT taking any of those last guys minutes. If it gives Lebron more rest or gets Jr out of there it is probably a good thing. Dos it hurt the spacing? That is the big question.

TT had a really inopportune injury from a minutes standpoint. Hard to think he may get less than 15 per game as is. I would like to see him in the starting unit against big guys

I used to think this before his injury but where is the evidence for this?: we've handled the Drummond, Embiid, and Howard fairly handily. His only good use would seem to be when we are really having trouble on the glass for a short stretch

Huh? How is that even a question, and not an absolute fact in anyone's mind?

Good screens also create space, and he is better than anyone on the team at that. Maybe he gets Frye and Korver open even more. TT has a very high offensive rating. Just because he is not himself a big scorer, doesn't mean he automatically hurts the offense.

Should have said, does it hurt the spacing so bad, the bench isn't as effective.

Don't be a prisoner of the moment. TT absolutely has a role on this team and he should be integrated into the starting unit. Give him 22-24 minutes per game and park him on the bench in closing minutes.

Our bench has been fantastic - we should only MINIMALLY alter those lineups:

Wade
Shump/Cedi
Korver
Green
Frye

Should be replaced with:

Wade
Korver
Crowder
Green
Frye

Crowder might perform better against opposing benches and find his defensive touch there, while the starting unit will feature TT and IT to add better rebounding, defense, and a scoring punch respectively.

We're doing fantastic in this winning streak but you guys need to look at the bigger picture (and playoffs). We've been an average rebounding team without TT and when the playoffs roll around, defenses get crazy intense (and we miss more shots), refs are a bit more loose with the whistle, I want us to have rotations in place to allow us to bang more for crucial rebounds and play rougher on the inside. TT is integral for that.

If we can trade TT for someone better - fine. But no way should we look to go the rest of the 82 game season and playoffs with Kevin Love as our starting C and Crowder at PF.

I know that's not what people want to hear because they want to keep their shiny little win streak intact but we need to use the rest of this season to figure out our rotations when our guys get healthy.

Would have been nice if he had used his down time to , you know...actually learn how to shoot the fucking ball...:chuckle:

During this streak opposing coaches have been putting their giant bigs on Crowder in order to match up with Love. Crowder has been inconsistent from deep but you still have to somewhat respect his shot. Kevin Love is shooting 47.2% from the field, can't remember what it was early but it's not coincidence that it rose when TT was no longer in the rotation due to injury. Not saying he will maintain that shooting % but if he was able to, then it would be a career high. This isn't a slight on TT but our success as a team will be directly tied to Love's continued resurgence so we should prioritize that.

No, go ahead and slight TT. He's awful.

Kevin Love is liable to miss his next 20 wide open 3 point shots. And then everyone here will be clamoring to have him traded.

I think that if teams are going to put their 5's on Crowder, I feel like a player such as Korver at the 4 is just going to destroy this defensive scheme in seconds. No big can stay with Korver on the perimeter and it's not like Crowder is rebounding that well right now. Sure, he provides better resistance against bigs in the post, but we often need to double and help him out.
Crowder just doesn't have an off the dribble game and he isn't that big of a threat from deep so you can just put a big on him and still be able to help at the rim if needed.

I'd like to see lineups with Korver at the 4 and Love at the 5.
